Hi, everybody! :) Our Dolphins will try to overcome their disappointing loss on the road last week, and try to beat the visiting Houston Texans at Landshark Stadium this afternoon in a battle of 7-7 teams in the hunt forplayoff contention.
Texans amazingly leads the all-time regular season series over our Fins 4-0 since Houston re-entered the NFL back in 2002. Dolphins lost to the Texans in the first-ever regular season meeting 20-21 on Opening Week 2003 back on September 7 at Landshark Stadium, losing the next three meetings at Reliant Stadium in Houston 15-17 on October 1, 2006, 19-22 on October 7, 2007, and 28-29 in the most recent meeting back at Houston October 28, 2008. Gary Kubiak is also 3-0 over our Fins since he was named Texans Head Coach.
Ian Eagle and Rich Gannon will announce the live TV game commentary for the NFL On CBS, and locally on WFOR CBS 4 on HD. Only 12% of the country will view the game regionally, including Southern Florida, thr majority of Texas, and parts of Louisiana.
Former Fin players, Jimmy Cefalo, Jim Mandich, and Joe Rose will also announce the live radio game play-by-play and anaysis on flagship station WQAM SportsRadio 560AM in Miami, and The Dolphins Radio Network.
Florida weather is great with sunny and clear skies at 74 degrees is forecasted at Landshark Stadium for today's 1:05 Eastern Standard Time kickoff with 10% precipitaion, 59% humidity, and mild north/northeast winds at 8 miles per hour.
Visiting Texans will dress in the blue jerseys and white pants, while the host Dolphins will wear their white jerseys, and aqua pants.
I wish our Dolphins to play with no injuries and stay in playoff contention with their eighth win of the season today at home. Beat those Texans so you can finally win your first game in this rivalry, and GO DOLPHINS!!!!! :dolphins::dolphins::dolphins:
