**DRAFT DAY DRINKING AND HUMOROUS COMMENTARY THREAD**

I’m aware there’s another draft thread, but I can’t see it, so I’ve decided to make a fun alternative.

For pre-draft discussion: What’s the big surprise in the top 10? There’s often a team in the top ten that barfs all over itself.

For me, I think it’s gonna be a team taking Jaxson Dart. My money is on the Jets.

Also, I have an early wake-up tomorrow, so I’m gonna try to get some sleep before the draft starts, then get up to watch a bit.

I normally get up around 7am but I've been awake since before 5am. Big day today. Got the Panthers playing TB tonight and of course the draft. A big surprise for me would be for the Dolphins not to screw up.

Maybe it’s my old age and being just more aware and less trusting but coming up to this draft this is the least excited I’ve been for a draft in a long time. Weirdly I woke up excited today though.

I'm with you. Strange feeling. I've used annual leave from work whenever required to watch every single Dolphins 1st round pick in the middle of the night over here since 2008. Not this year. Just going to see which corner we drafted tomorrow morning and then go to work.

Thursday for me and some of my retired friends is "porch day" when the weather is nice. Drinking often starts at 3pm. Very little chance I'll be awake by the time we draft. But you never know, I might have to wake up to take a leak.
