Detroit it playing great defense. But I'm not overly impressed. I really don't mean that in a bad way. But they're playing our 2nd team. The refs have taken Miami out of it.
Love the phantom foul by Shaq on Hamilton. I thought the Haslem foul was borderline at best. And yet the refs call it flagrant. Zo's "foul" on Arroyo was a joke. Arroyo gets Best Dramatic Performance for that one.
Seriously, I'm not one that complains about the refs and other teams. But it's really getting annoying watching the Pistons whine and cry after every single foul. I mean, Ben Wallace gets called for an obvious kicked ball and he's down there jawing with the ref. McDyess has that incredulous look on his face, and subsequent wine, after an over-the-back foul that Gordon Gund could see.
This is probably the only part of a Larry Brown coached team that I despise.
