Consistent with what Gase talked about yesterday.

Hope he can improve this unit with new and better pieces.
 
I hope he does a good job as our new DC; and I hope our FO gets him some young studs to work with.
 
Let's hope for the best. The defense can't be worse than this season.

He has an awesome beard as well. I can see beard nicknames and future memes if this guy pans out.
 
I don't like this move at all. The whole defensive system needs to be changed, not keep continuity with something that doesn't work.
 
Reading the comments shows there are a lot of pretty stupid prople on twitter.
 
Burke was pretty highly regarded in Cincinnati. He would likely have gotten a DC job had he stayed in Cincinnati.

I'm pretty confident that they promised him this succession of VJ when he agreed to come over from Cincinnati.

Can't say I like the comment about yards being misleading...they sure as heck weren't last year. I can't stand that bend-don't-break philosophy. I don't want the other team to get a freakin yard.

I do like the comment that he's intense, detailed and aggressive. I'm anxious to see it on the field next year.
