*** OFFICIAL NEW YORK JEST @ MIAMI DOLPHINS GAME THREAD *** Week 9

If you read the game thread, though, it was a complainfest about one player in particular even when we were winning and once the Jets took the lead, a meltdown of how the game was over.

You can't make the playoffs by losing games.

Yeah I know it's more than one player. The entire offense wasn't very good today. The Jets Defense went all out to shut down Ajayi and the passing game was still struggling vs one of the worst pass defenses in the league. Thank the football gods that Drake took one to the house or more than likely that would have been a loss and most here would be talking about the season being over again. The Dolphins aren't going to win many games when they play like they did today so hopefully they figure things out by next Sundays game in San Diego. Whether it be Stills coming back healthy, DVP getting healthy or just stepping up, other guys on the offense doing a better job and Gase coming up with a better game plan.

Dolphins' Cameron Wake earns the game ball in Miami's win over the Jets. Full grades recap:

Well deserved..

I liked how Rambo played today in pass coverage for the most part i am happy with that signing & allowing Michael Thomas to move to nickel at times.

Something seems completely off with Parker.....is he really ok??

Have you watched Chargers game this year and last? Their O-line is going to be a **** storm vs our defensive front. We should have Rivers under a lot of pressure that game.

Dmac

We should get some pressure. However, it won't matter much if this defense continues to let teams run all over us. Rivers was sacked just once this week as Melvin Gordan put up 196/1 on Tennessee. Phillip Rivers AND a running game. Look out.

We have been playing well but that run defense is going to be our Achilles heel. You can only sustain success for so long when you can't stop the run. Until our passing game gets going, Especially on the road where we are yet o win a game.

This will be the 4th game in a row we have to face a top 5 run defense. SD another anomaly (like Pittsburgh) in that they rank among the best (5th) in yards allowed but teams are not really running the ball that much on them. (ranked 10th lowest in attempts against)

Do not forget that Big Earl is being added to the lineup. His addition will have a positive impact on the DT rotation over the course of the game. I am hoping for 15 quality snaps from him during the Chargers game.
