Well, i'm a little late, and lonely ? lol i don't know if my peers from the nhl thread will watch this tonight...

go habs go !

on a sidenote, i'm anxious to see dominizzo and spacemountain .... the flyers, trading sbisa, lupul, a conditional 3rd and 2 1st rounders, for chris pronger who has one year left on his contract ?

:lol2::lol2::lol2:

it just looks like groundhog day in philly, every year :crazy:

well, just got back from work and realized i might be the only one who actually watched the nhl draft...LOL

louis leblanc for my habs, can't ask any better WOOP !

I watched,my LEAFS picked a life long habs fan(that will soon change).I'm not sure if the draft was on t.v in the states.(they're all watching Micheal Jackson).Anyway watch out for Tampa,they're pretty loaded with talent now.

nazem kadri is a habs fan ?% or you're talking about another round ?

I've never been able to get into the NHL draft.

That's probably because besides the Nailers (ECHL) there's not much in the way of developmental hockey here locally. No TV coverage at all.

It's simply not as big here in WV's northern panhandle.

It's not like football in that respect for me. I know who the prospects are in NCAA football - hockey, not so much.

I don't think anything comes close to the NCAA for "amature" sports,but the first round of the draft in the NHL has alot of local players from the OHL so we get to see them alot.(even though they're not gonna get a sniff at the NHL for a while).

hey habs fan....look at ur team how broken they are giving up Valentenko and McDonagh for Gomez the underachiever...donttalk that was a horrendous trade....2 solid dman prospects for a wash up...at least pronger is a star and will always be good..u got a midget in Gomez,,,weak trade

valentenko didn't even want to play for the habs, he was talking about heading back to russia, so might as well get something back. Chris higgins was going to be a free agent one day later and wasn't going to be resigned, so basically, we traded mcDonagh for gomez... i'm cool with that

mostly because now that we have gomez, camalleri and gionta followed him to montreal, you add spacek to the mix and that's one solid offseason (although i would've liked to keep tanguay, the guy is a passer and we already have enough of those on the roster... kovalev is now a priority in my mind, and a defencemen)

all in all, camalleri is my favorite new player IMO...a natural scorer who can play center or wing, he's young, and he's in montreal because he wanted to be here. He was the best center available in free agency IMO and now he's a canadien ! :D can't ask any better than that for a team who had koivu, plekanec, lang and lapierre as centers... it trully was our weakest position

i'm sorry but... there's no weaker trade than what the flyers did on draft day lol it's just too funny
