It's the offseason:boohoo: I miss hockey already!

should be a busy and interesting offseason as teams try to adjust their lineups to the new NHL, after playing in it for a season.

Whats the NHL?

MONTREAL GAZETTE: Pat Hickey reports Kirk Muller was recently seen dining with Canadiens GM Bob Gainey and head coach Guy Carbonneau, fuelling speculation he could become part of the coaching staff, which could be formally announced by the draft weekend.Hickey also noted Toronto Maple Leafs tough guy Tie Domi was recently seen dining with Habs blueliner Sheldon Souray. Domi is rumoured to be on the verge of having his contract bought out by the Leafs and Hickey claims Domi is a character player Gainey and Carbonneau covet.

CANADIAN PRESS: Robert Laflamme reports Edmonton Oilers tough guy forward Georges Laraque is no longer ruling out the possibility of playing for the Montreal Canadiens. Laraque made headlines a couple of years ago when he addressed trade rumours having him going to Montreal by claiming he'd retire first.

And thank you Joe Sakic.

Hopefully his $5.75M drives down the price for other free agents. The Leafs have alot of holes.

Kubina is a UFA, so no one is trading for him when they could just sign him.

But most importantly, never, never, ever believe anything from hockeytraderumors.com... ever.

It's just a couple of kids (I'm assuming they can't be adults) that make stuff up and pass them off as legit rumours.

Check this so called 'rumour' from them...

Florida:

Justin Pogge
Jay Harrison
Aleksander Suglobov
2nd rounder

Toronto:

Gary Roberts
Roberto Luongo

Roberto. Freaking. Luongo.:sidelol:

Pogge is a good prospect, but neither Harrison or Suglobov are surefire NHLers. Harrison might be a nice bottom pairing defensemen and Suglobov could be second liner at best. Neither of them have any value in a blockbuster.
