OFFICIAL: No Flex, No move for Pats-Phins, Week 12

i dont understand would nbc want to have a variety of teams not have the colts or chargers for 1000000000000000000000 time this year and we are better then both teams

Thats the problem.

Although the Fins would be a fresh face, our opponent has multiple primetime games.

On top of that, the loser of the Colts - Chargers game likely doesnt make the playoffs.

its nice to be on primetime but looking at that week there are better matchups and some just as equal. jets vs titans, eagles vs ravens, giants vs cardinals panthers vs falcons. any of these games could be better matchups than fins vs pats. we'll get our games next year. some people make too big a deal out of our importance compared to what the rest of the country thinks. pats arent that big of a draw without brady

doesnt make any sense....just because the colts vs chargers was a game last year doesnt mean it will be this year...miami fans just cant catch a break when it comes to recognition at the national level, but $%^& the lack of hype as long as week keep winning

dude when we were winning we ALWAYS had at least 3 PT games. were not so thats the way it goes.

Whatever. Now Football Night in America and the 7:00 pm Sport Center can spend the entire time talking about the first place Dolphins

NBC not to "Flex" in Miami vs New England

NBC KEEPS COLTS-CHARGERS ON NOVEMBER 23

Posted by Mike Florio on November 10, 2008, 11:49 a.m.
For the first week of flex scheduling, coming on November 16, NBC opted to keep the previously-designated game between the Cowboys and the Redskins.
For the second week of flex scheduling, NBC again will keep the game it was given in April: Colts at Chargers.
The two teams played last year in San Diego on a Sunday night during the regular-season, and the Chargers later went to Indy and upset the Colts in the playoffs.
Also, FOX has moved the November 23 game between the Panthers and Falcons from 1:00 p.m. EST to 4:15 p.m. EST. Along with Giants at Cardinals and Redskins at Seahawks, these three games will form the back end of FOX’s doubleheader that day.

I actually think there is a chance the December 7th game against the Bills in Toronto has a chance to be moved to primetime. Buffalo has three winnable games coming up against the Browns, at the Chiefs, and home to the 49ers. That would make them 8-4 going into that game. The Dolphins have a chance to be around 8-4 or 7-5 at that point. The current scheduled night game for that week is the Patriots at the Seahawks. There is no way that will stay in primetime with Seattle's bad record. Dallas plays at Pittsburgh at 4:15, but FOX won't allow that game to get moved. The only other two games that could get moved would be the Redskins at the Ravens and the Jaguars at the Bears. I don't think they would do the rematch of the game they did last night with the Eagles at the Giants.

its sad because we deserve a nationally telivised game and i dont really see any other games they would flex besides the last game of the season, but whatever im fine with the 1 pm start i got the ticket so its not the biggest deal, but id still like to see us in a primetime game.
