He’s not a bigger bust than Russell come on
What a joke, Tua is not a bust, he was just "mid" or whatever the kids say nowadays

Disagree. Tua is a major bust. What a joke, Tua is not a bust, he was just "mid" or whatever the kids say nowadays
Thats what the Bills offered us at the trade deadline. In what world is 'basically a #2 WR' worth a 1st and 3rd?
That has never been confirmed to my satisfaction, by anyone anyone in either organization.Thats what the Bills offered us at the trade deadline.
Talent isn't the issue with Brents. It's his inability to avoid injuries.dunno but they shouldn't gamble on these guys when there is better talent available in two months

I suppose it depends upon one's definition of "bust".Emtman did not reach his potential due to injuries. That list is the inane idiocy of an idiot.

A lot of times you can't predict injuries, but other times there are indicators.
I wouldn't call drafting Tua a "bust", but I would call drafting him an easily foreseen mistake and the subsequent contract a very expensive, very easily foreseen disaster.
Like I said, opinions vary on what constitutes a bust. I'm not aware of a precise dictionary definition so it's a bit nebulous. If you want to go the "concesus is correct" line of thought, I believe most would say Russell was a bust, but RG3 was an injury derailment, rather than a bust.Busts don't get paid like he did when contract time came. Tua was more like a mirage ... a hindsight example to prevent the same trap in the future.
Busts burn out after a few seasons ... the special ones don't even make it 1. Russell played parts of 3 seasons so he's not as unanimous as people think.
Akili Smith, Ryan Leaf, Heath Shuler, Russell, Andre Ware ... and you almost have to include #3 overall Trey Lance at this point. Those are your all time 6.
Andre Ware....... Now there's a blast from the past. The hay day of the run and shoot offense.Busts don't get paid like he did when contract time came. Tua was more like a mirage ... a hindsight example to prevent the same trap in the future.

I would call Russell a bust by my definition.

100%. I’m not sure he’s top ten, but he’s definitely up there.Disagree. Tua is a major bust.
