Official site with some cryptic Breaking News

Typical "dummy text" if the text is not ready yet, but the layout already is

I think this is French or Italian..

Li nov lingua franca va esser plu simplic e regulari quam li existent Europan lingues.

Translated. The new French language will be simple and regular like the existant European Languages?

I speak Portuguese and Spanish, so this is the best I could come up with..

So you guys think that there is some 'Breaking News' that they are preparing to release today?

This is Italian I think... But its weird, the entire article is talking about Europe and language.. Nothing about football. Methinks someone copy and pasted something onto the site incorrectly. lol.

Actually it is Latin and then some - a derivation. I have this as a filler when I create a new web page, it's a plug-in with Dreamweaver MX. It's a plug-in for several development tools I guess. It's just bogus filler.
The best explanation that I have found is at the Straight Dope. It quotes Richard McClintock, a Latin professor turned publications director at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia.

Nearly every article you read about Lorem Ipsum quotes Richard, as he made the discovery that Lorem Ipsum is a slightly mangled passage from Cicero. Thanks, Professor! Oddly, he likes his eggs scrambled (with a little cream cheese thrown in).

If you're really curious, you may read the original Latin. De Finibus, Bonorum et Malorum. Liber Primus. By Marcus Tullius Cicero, (106-45 BC)

If you don't speak Latin (who doesn't?) there's an english translation by Harris Rackham (1868-1944)

My guess is that it is used as filler for a page under development and in a non-US language so that an accidental visitor won't be able to make any sense of it. I edit my original pst to add more detail.
