I believe that the 2nd rounder for Pepper is for 2007

Don't know the truth of the matter (actually, no one really knows the actual pick traded for Duante), but someone said in another thread that it was for a 2007 2nd round pick. Again, I do not know the validity of it. If that's the case, I say "Great move!" by Saban and Co. IF (big IF) that's the case, Miami could still bring in a younger QB (Whitehurst, Croyle, maybe Jacobs) in this year's 2nd round. That would be probably the best move thus far under Saban, IMO. Again, I don't know if this is true. I do hope, however, Miami can land a QB on the first day of draft.

The 2nd is for this years draft. There is no way he can pass a physical right now. I think it's a great move, we finally have a great QB.
