I am sitting her and think we owe a debt of grattitude to Cam Cameron and Randy Mueller for how they have handled the off-season. They let the big spending happen and then went under the raidar to make some great acquisitions as well as make some tough decisions that will benefit us greatly in the long run. Players such as Olindo Mare, Kevin Carter, Randy McMichael, Jeno James, and Wes Welker were players loved by the Miami fanbase but it was time for a change. Our salary cap is looking as good as it ever has and we have a solid team heading into next season with the draft right around the corner, Tradding Wes Welker for a 2nd and 7th round pick was an absolute steal for our orginization. We wanted Joey Porter so we flew to him and got it done; Saban should have done this for us yuears ago but failed and failed miserably.

Resigning veterans such as Keith Traylor and Vonnie Holliday will pay huge dividends to us as well was signing players such as special teamer Cam Worrel, Kicker Jay Feeley, and TE David Martin. And let us not forget who I personally think was the biggest signing of the off-season in Joey Porter. I don't think we are done yet.. I think we will Trade a 6th rounder for Trent Green and I think we sign Dante Stallworth. That leaves us with the draft,,,,

on paper it looks like a playoff-bound team, but we'll just have to see how it all turns out when the season starts. we learned this last year, unfortunately...:\

3 rooks on the o-line? Ouch! Although, they'd be great in a couple of years.

I don't think Levi Brown is a 9th overall pick caliber of player. That high in the draft I'd rather have Ginn, Landry, Hall, Branch, Quinn, etc... I don't want to draft a lineman with such a high pick unless you GUARANTEE me that player will become Orlando Pace.

In fact, the Dolphins need more than one receiver. Is Marcus Vick anything more than a project? I lean toward no but I openly admit I'm not an expert on WR evaluation. We only have Chambers and Booker at WR and they do not produce enough on the field to warrant NOT drafting a WR at some point in the draft.

Perhaps Kelley Washington, Kelly Campbell or Donte Stallworth are special players in the making. I lean toward NO. Especially Stallworth. He did not perform well enough to earn the #1 WR spot on the Eagles and that is exactly what the Dolphins need.

Tones of the exuberance on the forum before last season...and that was a fiasco. This much we know...we'll field a team, they will play at least 16 games. Let's see what the record looks like after week 8. Then we'll talk. Not trying to take shots at anybody. I'm as much of a Dolphins homer as anybody.

Levi Brown, kalil and Grubbs would be instant upgrade to our line. I dont care what anyone says about Brown, he is a great road grader at LT and is always looking downfield to kick someones butt.

One can only dream. I do not think this is what will happen however. Kalil will be gone IMO. I could still see Brown and Grubbs bigtime and Hadnot stays starting Center with a backup in free agency probably.

Unfortunately, we almost have to take Levi Brown at 9th. Staley will probably move up to round 1 or be gone at the very beginning of round 2 now (now considered 3rd best LT). We can't play wait and see in round 2 with Staley and hope he is there. Besides, neither of them will really be starters in their first season at LT IMO (unless it is out of desperation).

The problem with your wish list is that we are getting and looking at Safeties as we speak and we just got joey which means the natives want offense offense offense! Branch seems out of the picture with our youth and Tractor Traylor resigning. Quinn will not be there at #9 but still moreso unlikely. Quinn is a leader and is showing it.

Ginn is so overrated its not funny. I do not get the lovefest for this guy. Gonzalez is just as good IMO minus the special teams stuff.

If we can get Brown and kalil, there is no reason to go after grubbs because the line would be set.

RT Vernon Carey
RG Rex Hadnot
C Ryan Kalil
LG Lj Shelton
LT Levi Brown

The other 2nd can be used on a cb like daymeion hugues out of cal or Darrelle Revis out of pittsburgh. remember we still don't have the shutout corner.

If we spend our first 3 picks on offensive lineman I am going to be very disappointed..

You don't take interior lineman that high IMO especially with the chances that 1st round talent skill players fall..

3 o-linemen in a row and then all 3 rookies starting? I don't see that happening....I really don't think we'll tale Brown at 9 tho I could see us taking him later on if we move down....you don't take the 20th best player in the draft at 9 just cos you want a LT......we will probably take a guard and/or a center on day one....at 9 I think Ginn and Branch are more posible depending of the rest of free agency...I think Quinn will be gone....if Branch is there I think I'd take him as much as I'd like for us to draft Ginn....there're a few fast WR's that we can take later on but Branch in the middle for us would be great...imagine a front 7 with Roth,Branch,Holliday,Taylor,Zach,Porter and Crowder.....that'd be sick.

Ozzy rules!!

We won't be able to trade that second 6th rounder to the Chiefs for Green. That pick is going back to the Broncos with Wilkinson going to retire.
