Its obvious, teams biggest weakness is by far at the Wide Reciever position. Parcells has a roadmap for success where he drafts from the inside out. Well year three is coming up and its that time to start drafting/signing a #1 reciever to go along with his franchise QB.

Options through Free Agency:
-I cannot see the Chargers letting Vincent Jackson even test the market. They brought this guy up and developed him, theres no way theyre not resigning him.
-Braylon Edwards will probably be resigned by the Jets but his attitude sucks and he drops too many key passes.
-Antonio Bryant is number 2. Plus the Bucs have an insane amount of money to spend.
-Miles Austin is an idea as he is just starting to emerge. He's the guy I was hoping Ted Ginn would become.
-Brandon Marshall is probably the most likely guy to leave his current team. He's got too many red flags for a team that goes after high character guys. On talent alone, he should be the most prolific free agent to hit the market. The guy is a playmaker and many would love to see him here but I have a hard time rooting for a guy who is such a punk.

Through the Draft:

Dez Bryant is a top 10 talent. Dont think we'll be able to land him but oh boy if we do that would be insane!

Aside from him, theres a lot of guys having dissapointing seasons..
Brandon Lafell is the only other guy that I would want. Hes playing pretty well with a crappy QB.

of all of them i would love to see miles austin as a fin, dallas will not be able to afford him, they have witten, roy williams, and barber locked up already

Two step process.....

Antonio Bryant if he's healthy, then draft Golden Tate in the second round. Keep Bess and Cam as the possession receivers.

Tate is faster than Dez Bryant and has put up better stats. He has been trained in a pro style offense and should be ready to contribute from the start rather than waiting 2 or 3 yrs for a rookie to learn the craft.

That will leave the 1st round pick to get a top notch LB or maybe....CJ Spiller?????

First off, there may not be a salary cap next year and if that's the case the fact that the Bucs are beneath the cap has no meaning. In fact, if there's no salary cap, look for the Buccaneers to spend an insanely LOW amount on new payroll, as the key for them will be the lack of a salary FLOOR, rather than a salary CAP.

Secondly, even if there is a cap next year, the Bucs have shown consistently that they have no desire to spend to the cap. They're cheap. The Glazers are in financial trouble becaue of Manchester United, that's no secret. It's a crime that more people aren't talking about it. They must be pulling a LOT of strings locally to not have the journalists talking about it more, but it couldn't be more obvious.

No way he makes it to market. Toss him into the Vincent Jackson bucket.

I don't think he's very likely to leave at all but if he does you do not hesitate, you grab him.

If you define "well" as showing a pathological inability to locate and adjust to the ball in flight, then yes Brandon LaFell is playing very well.

The guys you want to look at in the draft are Golden Tate, Rejus Benn and perhaps Damian Williams. There's a guy later on that bears watching in Taylor Price of the Ohio Bobcats. He's a feisty sumbytch.

I think you could put Dezmon Briscoe from Kansas up there as a possibility through the draft. He has had some off the field issues but he could be a nice pick if he falls into the 2nd or 3rd maybe? He's got good size (6-3 200lbs) and decent speed. I know he's a junior but he's expected to announced today that he is declaring. Here is a youtube video if anyone is interested:

Is anyone out there privy to the progress of Julius Pruitt????

Fast(legitimate 4.40 speed)Good size(6'2",210)Agile with great hands(Was known for making acrobatic catches)

He appeared to be a genuine candidate to be a small college(Quachita Baptist had an enrollment under 1500)success story.

Everything I've read about him is positive except for the fact that he wasn't drafted or signed.

Heck of a learning curve for him but do the Dolphins have something there???

With the juniors I try and wait until they've declared or I have a good idea that they will declare. Briscoe is a definite possibility but I don't know if he has the makeup from a character standpoint. His RAC is pretty amazing at times.

I'd he interested to hear CK's opinion on Pruitt.

I would like to see us sign Miles Austin and draft Dez Bryant.

Then maybe we'll see some changes on offense.
