Well at least he has learned the politics of the NFL...
There were five teams that called John right after he was released and John figured Baltimore was the best place for him.
Radio guy speculated that John is just trying to figure out a way to stay on a roster and that being back with the coach that drafted you into the league was one way to accomplish that. Radio guy said that coaches and management that draft you into the league, want to see you succeed so that their decisions are validated.
Said that John will leave on Sunday for a minicamp.
good luck to him as long as he doesn't play agaisnt him...things didn't work out for him with us but why do people on this board have to hate him?...Is just plain stupid to hate a guy that all he wants to do is help others just because he didn't become the next Dan Marino for us.
Chance to play? In B-more?? Haha! Can't see it. More like, chance to keep food on the table for his family. Unless Flacco totally bombs or gets injured, Beck will riding the pine for awhile.
Point 2, if I'm a coach, I stay away from young qb's that got destroyed early in their careers like Harrington, Schaub, Couch.....they are too associated with losing to embrace. Steve Young was able to shake off the rough start, but few ever do.
