They aren't going to replace him and Sid will host the show alone. (Miami Herald this morning). He had a falling out with the management.

Also on a side note Sid may be leaving too and head back to WFAN and NY. Rumor making the rounds is 790 may be about to go under real real soon.

Is 790, "the Ticket?" Like is that who broadcasts teh games on sunday? Because I usually listen to the games online, and it would kill me to not be able to at leats listen to them since I can't get DirectTV.

yep.

If they go under the games to EASILY be moved to another station who is owned by company that owns 790. Most stations are owned by 3 or 4 large companies. So, Im sure whoever owns 790 also owns like 3 or 4 other radio stations in Miami

damn man. I like joe rose, oj,defo and boog. I even started to like lebatard and stu. It's nice to have an alternative to fat *** hank who doesn't let people talk. To be honest too, sometimes mad dogg gets old with his trivia every freakin' day. I hope they stick around. I don't want to have to hear goldie ramble on about the panthers every chance he gets!

that sucks that o.j. quit...sid was on with mike francesa of mike and the maddog on wfan and said he wants to come back and had a meeting with the program director...that was on tuesday and now he is definately going to want to go back since o.j. quit...i was really looking forward to o.j. comment on dolphin games...

Later Sid... Don't let the Florida sun burn your a** on the way back to New York.

Hopefully this means Maddog will get his color gig back.

OJ McDuffie didnt belong on the radio, and I'm glad he finally realized it.

The way 790's ratings are going, we might not have to put up with Jimmy Cefalo and Joe Rose as the announcers for too long.

I haven't really liked the Dolphins announcers in a long time.

Howard David was really good as on Monday nights a few years back - but he really was not a Dolphin guy and part of his failing was he came in at the end of the Whiny Wanny era. Not much to get excited about there!

I'd like to see a radio play-by-play guy who has a distinctive (but NOT grating) voice - and adds some excitement to the game.

With the color guys - I think there can be better analytical skills than the Dolphins have had for a while. The guys they've had for several years now have not really added anything unique insights on the team/schemes/players to their analysis.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.790 the ticket cant go down!what the hell is going on.

OJ and SID had a great show with great chemistry. It wasn't the regular talk show and it was very entertaining. I will be very sad to see OJ go. To all those people who like those other FAT sports morons, OJ actually played the game and knows what goes on behind the scenes. And he has no problem in telling you the truth.

i was wondering what was going on of late. I had no idea. OJ's a nice enough fellow, but yeah it gets old hearing about his basketball games.

bring back the old announcers.

mad dog is the best, lets start a petition to the radio station.
OJ was great as a player, but he was really bad on the radio so was that other tool.
LETS GET SOME HOMERS IN THERE.
