Did yall see the new dominant wave of SEC players tonight?

Brandon Lafell. Charles Davis. Ciron Black.

Watch for dem Tigers baby. The new talent is here.

and Alley Broussard, one of the best running backs in the conference, is back from his knee injury.

LSU BABY. I know you Florida fans are excited too. And rightfully so. good team. But we're better.

Believe.

The Gators did not do a great job and thats bad. However Southern Miss is good

I was not impressed at all with Florida's performance(other than Percy Harvin and Reggie Nelson). Forget LSU, they better get their game straightened out by the time they go to Tennessee!

Didn't see any of the LSU game, or even Highlights, but I'm sure they looked good. Usually do. Can't wait to see the LSU/Auburn game.

Don't forget Dallas Baker. If he continues to live up to his potential (as he did at the end of last year and yesterday), he can play up to a Calvin Johnson level. He has ALL of the tools, just needed to grow up, which I believe he has under Meyer. Complimenting him with Harvin is scary. Wynn also looks to have grown up.

Last night didn't bother me too much. SM is good, and the Gators always seem to play one of their early two games like that.

The SEC is crazy this year. Could UT already be back? Five (six if you count Ga, but I don't) teams with top 15 potential.

Yeah Baker looked to be in mid season form already. I disagree with Wynn though, looks like we picked right up where they left off last year in the running game, someone needs to step up. I definitely like the comments I heard from Meyer though, he always seems to comment on the exact concerns I have in my head. You could definitely tell their nerves had the best of them at the beginning and did look better once they settled down but they still have ALOT of work to do before that brutal stretch of the schedule gets here.

The Defense looked good at times and I wonder if that was a good Secondary that played or just a poor throwing Offense. Why didn't Marcus Thomas play?????

He was dressed, I saw him on the sideline. The announcers said that Meyer said he wouldn't be playing and he would explain after the game. Sounds like he missed curfew or something.

Yeah he told why missed the game in the post game conference, But I did not found out why yet.

I sure hope he helps create more of a pass rush when he's in there cause they didn't have a whole lot last night.

Well if he is anything like last year you know he will. He will break down the pocket and force the QB to the Outside where the ends have an easier time getting to him.

Thomas was suspended for undisclosed team rules violation.

Re: Wynn, I could just be the giddy homer in me wanting to see him take the next step. But, I have been reading postive things.

IMO our secondary better not pat their own backs too hard. I saw a S.M. offense that didn't pass well, and caught even worse. Kinda like the Fins, secondary and OL are the main concerns. I think the pass rush will be fine. Marcus Thomas is a beast who provides a great pass rush for a DT. When he's back it changes how teams block our front four. Steven Harris (suspended for spring practice) was also out, but I'm not exactly sure when he returns.

Steven Harris probably will never play another down as a Florida Gator, But he will be allowed to keep his scholarship and graduate this year from the university.

What happened to Justin Vincent? I thought he was awesome the year LSU won the NC.
