If the Fins keep Martin and with everything that has been going on they might.. With his skill set and size would he make a good/great right or left guard in our system.. We know as of right now he can't play LT or RT to the level we need.. So the ? is if we keep him can he play guard? And can he be good?

-IF- we were to keep him I believe he'd play RT rather then guard. Let's hope it doesn't come to that.

Put him at the gate. Dude is a turnstile on the field an a liability on a roster. Give him the money and send him home.

The problem I have with Martin is not his size of his body or his lack of strength, it is between his ears. That man has too many issues.

No to playing guard.....although it might be easier to hide him there. Right Tackle is most likely and hope for the best.

honestly? I don't want him back. but it doesn't matter what we want. So lets just say from a publicity standpoint (DAVE!) keeping martin and him making a successful comeback would do two things. a.) prove philbin has enough control on the locker room to allow even a player who's weak between the ears like martin to succeed... and b.) allows us to salvage a number 2 draft pick.

that's all the positive I have.

I can't imagine a scenario where anyone in their right mind wouldn't cut ties. It's pure common sense.

However, in the OP's defense, we are the Dolphins....so his only position IMO is RT and my bet is he will always suck no matter where he goes.

" With his skill set and size would he make a good/great right or left guard in our system.."

Martin good or great at anything ..... pleaz get off the crack pipe ... pla eeeze

The ONLY way to move on from this entire fiasco is to cut ties with Martin and Incognito. Fins management knows it and hopefully they are simply playing the PR game until a decent trade partner comes along.

I can't believe anyone in their right mind would want him back. I hope he goes to the jets.

Ozzy rules!!

Show Martin the door at any cost, team has to move on and he is mentally unstable at best.

not sure I want him back but its funny that some people would take Clabo back who sucked worse than Martin at RT
If MArtin could be salvaged I would keep him at RT. I have no real personal opinion on Martin. He seems to have mental issues but so does Incognito.
