After Belichick's first season ended at 5-11, the Patriots won the Super Bowl the very next season (2001). But people forget they didn't start out looking like SB contenders. They started the season by LOSING THEIR FIRST TWO GAMES, and winning only 1 game out of their first 4.

I am not saying that for the Dolphins 0-2 = Superbowl, but what I am saying is that an 0-2 start doesn't mean a team can't have a very successfull season.

After playing well against the Stealers, I think the Dolphins took this game for granted. Fine, if they were susceptible to that sort of emotional let down, then better they learn their lesson and be humbled early than late. Plus, now they can play with something to prove because noone will respect them anymore.

So please, step back from the window ledge.

Heh. Owned.

Owned? For what?? I didn't say anything about the QBs, but thanks SOOO much for you highly valuable input. You can go back to coloring now.

I wasn't trying to own anybody, just making an observation. We know Harrington's not as good as Brady but he could give this team the spark it needs and be good enough it Daunte continues to look horrible.

Didn't that same team find success after changing QBs?

Could be the key... You never know, Bledsoe did go down with an injury, so there are obviously parallels.

For your lack of knowledge of how exactly the Pats turned it around?

I wasn't TALKING about the Quarterbacks, I was simply provinding an example as to why people shouldn't freak out. You turning in to somekind of school yard "diss-fest" is one of the most childish things I've seen on this board in a while.

 "Diss-fest?" Get over yourself.

Get over MYSELF? YOU are the one who came to this thread and declared that I had been owned, as if I was engaged in some sort of insult contest and you were the judge. So who's the self-important one?

No QB on your roster is Brady and your coach is not Billicheck(sp). Those are the 2 reasons that team turned there season around and your team has neither, so that kills your comparison and/or logic.

Still you. You're the one who got enraged by it and you're the one dragging out this meaningless crap. You started YET ANOTHER thread about how "0-2 isn't that bad" and when someone pointed out that the NE team you cited as an example only turned things around by benching their highly-drafted, highly-paid veteran starter, I found it amusing. Now you're dragging things out in a ridiculous, juvenile manner. Get over yourself.

His point was that 2 games do not represent the performance of an entire season, NOT that we are superbowl bound because we similarly lost our first 2 games. I think expecting a bills fan to comprehend basic reading may be asking a bit much though, so I'll give you a pass.

Bellichick is what he is because of Brady. If he wouldn't have found brady he might be out of work right now. There are several coaches in the league who might be considered a genius if they would have stumbled onto a QB like that.
