How about a top 10 for the Dolphin Draft Board? Imagine whatever scenario you wish (players falling or trading up to the #1 pick) list the playersâ€â€in orderâ€â€that you would like to see the Dolphins draft. This isn't a list of who you think might be available at #9. But how you think the Dolphin Draft Board stacks up--1 to 10.

not sure I totally understand this, but here goes

1)Joe Thomas
2)Calvin Johnson
3)Alan Branch
4)Gaines Adams
5)Leron Landry
6)Jamaal Anderson
7)Sidney Rice
8)Patrick Willis
9)Jon Beason
10)Ryan Kalil

(note, I left out some big names, I feel if these players were available to us that we should entertain trade offers to move down, also some of these players are def not worth our pick at #9 but these are my top 10 for us as of value wise for our needs).

I think he was asking for a Phins Mock by round, so list the player you think the Phins would take in each round.

When you pick as high as 9 the draft board is probably relatively small and the players who will be available can be narrowed down pretty easily. That being said, it's also probably pretty easy to see who will and who won't be available when we pick. Based on that, this would be my priority of players as in who we should pick in terms of availability :

1. Brady Quinn
2. Levi Brown
3. Dwayne Jarret
4. Gaines Adams
5. Amobi Akoye
6. Alan Branch
7. Jamaal Anderson
8. Reggie Nelson
9. Laron Landry
10. Leon Hall

My reasoning for this list is that our priority should be improving our piss poor offense regardless of the fact that our defense is aging. I'm also basing this on the fact that you should pick for BPA relative to what positions you need the most. I think this makes a lot of sense even though it is way too early to make any such speculation.

1. Calvin Johnson
2. JaMarcus Russell
3. Joe Thomas
4. Brady Quinn
5. Alan Branch
6. Ted Ginn
7. Patrick Willis
8. Amobi Okoye (DE)
9. Dwayne Jarret
10. Reggie Nelson

Well a draft board, irregardless of if we pick #9 or #1:

1. Joe Thomas
2. Calvin Johnson
3. Jamarcus Russel
4. Brady Quinn
5. Gaines Adams
6. Alan Branch
7. Jamaal Anderson
8. Levi Brown
9. Laron Landry
10. Reggie Nelson
Honorable mention: Amobi Akoye

1. Calvin Johnson
2. Joe Thomas
3. Brady Quinn
4. Alan Branch
5. Dwayne Jarrett
6. Gaines Adams
7. Amobi Akoye
8. Laron Landry
9. Levi Brown

Cool thread:

1. Joe Thomas - bar none, he would fill our biggest need
2. Calvin Johnson - Incredible talent to become our #1 WR
3. JaMarcus Russell - Best QB in the draft, good investment for the near future.
4. Brady Quinn - 2nd best QB, good investment for the near future.
5. Alan Branch - signing Vonnie Holiday wouldn't be as important anymore.
6. Jamaal Anderson - J.T. and K.C. aren't getting any younger
7. Gaines Adams - J.T. and K.C. aren't getting any younger
8. Amobi Okoye - extrodinary young talent for the DL
9. Patrick Willis - impact player, would start immediately at a position that we are very thin at.
10. LaRon Landry - Ball Hawk, something our secondary truly lacks.

Honorable Mention:
Levi Brown - just missed the top 10, but the guys ahead will make a bigger impact on our team.
Reggie Nelson - another ball hawk
Leon Hall - best all around CB in the draft

Well, looks like we think pretty closely. Hopefully the coaches board is pretty close to either of ours at this point.

1. Calvin Johnson - BPA, period
2. Joe Thomas - Franchise LT
3. Reggie Nelson - True Ballhawk, heavy hitter, GREAT ST player as well
4. Gaines Adams - true hybrid type DE/OLB
5. Alan Branch - Force in the middle
6. Jamaal Anderson - dominant DE
7. Laron Landry - Ballhawk, good coverage S, heavy hitter
8. Levi Brown - Solid LT
9. Brady Quinn - Solid QB, Cam's type of guy
10. JaMarcus Russell - Raw skills, great arm, needs some polishing

I am still not sold on Okoye yet. Very intriguing prospect, but didn't he weigh in at less than 290 in the Senior Bowl? Very explosive, but I am not sure that he would be ready for NFL lineman. Don't get me wrong, I like him, but something about him just doesn't sit well with me.

 287

He did say he was gonna try to bulk up for the Combine though.

1)Joe Thomas- though QB is most important, DC may still turn it around
2)Brady Quinn- though DC may turn it around, he also may not
3)JaMarcus Russell- see Quinn
4)Calvin Johnson- BPA? Yes. More important than LT or QB for us? No.
5)Alan Branch- I'd hate 2 go D but the man is a 6'6 331 & fast for his size
6)Adrian Peterson- if no1 wants to trade up, hold him for ransom win/win
7)Ted Ginn Jr- say w/e u will, he's a threat to put up 6 on every touch
8)Dwayne Jarrett- rather have speed but CCs inconsistence makes DJ ok
9)Levi Brown- as important as LT is for us, the jury's still out on Brown
10)Lawrence Timmons- DE takes a back seat(Roth) OLB is hurting(Spragan)
