Former UNC QB, recently released by the Ravens. Was awesome in college, but may not be tall enough for the NFL. I think he's 5'11, which is still taller than Doug Flutie. :)

For what? Honestly, is there nothing better to talk about?

Wasnt he trying to enter the draft as a Saftey?

He's short and has no arm strength. He's got amazing athletic ability though. He'll probably end up playing another position.

Sigh.... guys- we're SCREWED at QB this year. S-C-R-E-W-E-D. Okay? Tim Couch isn't the answer. Rohan Davey isn't the answer. This Durant guy isn't the answer. We have to draft a QB in the first round next year or try to sign or trade for Brees should he become available. That's the only way we're getting a quality QB, kapish? I'm sick and tired of everyone trying to find the next Kurt Warner or Tom Brady. It rarely happens like that, and it isn't gonna happen like that for us. So please, enough with suggesting these scrub QB's for the Dolphins. Year after year- offseason after offseason- pre-season after pre-season since Dan retired. Enough. PLEASE!!

Released means unwanted. By the Ravens, who have freaking Kyle Boller starting at QB.

Think about it. He was released. It's not like Peyton Manning suddenly appeared on the Waiver Wire. It's Darian Durant. What was the point of this thread?

if you dont like his thread, stick to the aj vs gus or caption this pic threads, theres enough of those to keep you busy. you people are all so combative with your own kind its driven me to not even wanna post very often at all anymore

As a business owner, I am constantly interviewing people for jobs. Generally, when they tell me they were fired from their last job because they were poor at it, I don't think, "Hmmm, maybe this guy just needs a change of scenery. I think I'll give him a chance." That doesn't mean I never do or that I may have missed out on some people over the 23 years of doing this. But, generally, released means fired because they did their job poorly. I think we should pass. I equate this to the Kay Jay thing. 32 GM's went up to the podium approximately 7 times and no one called his name. To me, that was a good indication that he would not be a star. It's possible, but highly improbable.

I really like your point here, sure when you dont take a chance on a guy that didnt get the job done at his previous job there is a chance you could miss out... but its alot more likely that he just flat out isnt good enough. We as fans DONT know more than 32 GM's that dont want this guy.

For what, CFL, or AFL, cause I don't think he'll be a QB in the NFL.
