I want you guys to come up with what Henne has done wrong since taking over the team as the starting qb. I don't get you guys.

The guy takes over and is 3-2 as a starter and really should be 4-2 (saints game). While he has thrown a few pics, the one against the chargers is crap because he never practiced and was thrown into a situation pretty much unprepared and at a critical juncture in the game. The pic that against the Saints falls squarely on Ginn and wasn't a td anyway.

Now looking at what he has done since he took over. The guy has done a damn good job at protecting the ball. Since we really are a power and sometimes finesse running team, you don't ask much from your quarterback. He has pretty much done everything we have asked. He isn't turning the ball over, he is making downfield reads, he isn't fumbling and he is SMARTLY throwing the ball away when there is no play.

Did I also mention that our wideout corps is complete trash? I mean the guy has really NOTHING but possession wideouts to work with and Bess/Camarillo would be 3rd/4th string on other teams. Haynos is getting more action than Fasano (that is sad) and hartline is rookie.

So, what exactly are you guys bitching about? Are you mad because he isn't lighting it up out there? Are you mad because the Jake Grove isn't doing a good job at reading the defense and making the line calls at times? I mean seriously, what really are you guys bitching about. If the guy was throwing picks like Jake Delhomme or looking like Derek Anderson, I would concede that he is really struggling. I wish I had the stats for dropped passes while Henne has been the qb. I am sure it is staggering. Yet that is Henne's fault right?

I just don't get you guys. While I will relinquish the notion that he needs to do a better job at pre-snap reads of the defense, that is something that most rookies struggle with until they gain more experience.

Our dolphins have built themselves up in some places and really are struggling at key positions such as WR, LB and FS. Rome wasn't built in a day and coming from 1-15, after really sitting down and evaluating how we have put ourselves in great position (DE's, CB's, QB, RB, OL) for the future through the draft (upside at many of those positions is very good), I think the F.O. (besides the WR situation) has done a damn good job with what they inherited.

He didn't put up Brady numbers. To be accepted by fans, you have to be the best at everything and be invinceable.

It's obvious you cannot win on a message board. Live with it.

I mean there is a reason everybody here isn't a special advisor for Bill Parcells (although most here probably believe they are good enough to be).

too many passes to the ground. too many passes overthrown, too many passes under thrown..not very good decisions..that was one game...last game he played better...but I am kinda looking for a steady improvement with the guy

my only problem was the same as it was in the jets game... he doesn't recognize his hot receivers when its an all out blitz...

If anyone has watched even some football over the years, they would understand that for the kind of offense we have, Henne has done everything we have asked of him. I just cannot believe the magnitude of homerism on this forum. I am not VIP but have really thought about it. I wonder if that is any better. It just makes me wonder if some of these phins fans can keep a rational football conversation outside of here. Sure doesn't seem like it at times and it is kind of embarrassing for the fanbase IMO.

I agree, our WR situation is terrible. We have backups across the board. If they were any good we wouldn't be splitting our RB's and TE's out wide. This sounds really dumb but I'm going to say it anyway. As soon as Henne took over I kind of wondered if dropped passes would increase because lets fac it, Pennington's soft balls were very easy to catch. Henne's lasers are tougher. Not picking on Henne here as his arm is a much better weapon than Pennington's this a knock on our WR's.

i love how it is everybody elses fault except henne.

I dont think henne lost the game for us..but he really didnt help.. I really didnt feel confident with henne in there at all this game.. He just seemed nervous and clueless...like he might have been seeing things that werent there

btw..wassup with ricky and his self inflicted trips? does he only have like 3 toes or something?

I haven't seen many Henne passes that were absurdly under/over thrown. Are you sure you aren't mistaking throw away passes (nobody open) for this?

He doesn't have much to work with here. I don't see what you are expecting from Henne given the circumstances. Our wideouts are getting their hands on the ball and yet they are not coming up with the catch. That isn't on Henne. You touch the ball, especially with 2 hands, you make the catch. Simple as that.

Since Bess nor camarillo can get separation, Henne has no choice but to throw the ball only where they have a shot at it. If not, it is going to get picked/batted down. Then you would be bitching about that too.

He has done fine. Nothing exceptional but better than I would of thought. The coaching staff calls terrible plays for him and puts him in bad positions. Now there are somethings he can work on obviously. He puts the ball in the perfect places, he has that power to get it in the smallest spot (remember the bess catch that should of been INT?)

The coaching staff needs to give him better plays instead of half *** roll outs against an all or blitz. Good QB or not the receivers are running bad routes (all ****ing curl routes) Look at the Pats... Screen, screen, crossing route to moss or welker, and deep posts and fly routes.

Granted we don't have moss or welker we still need to run more crossing and slant routes. Also against a blitz we need to throw more screens(not that ugly bess screen, its the only screen we call). It pads the QB's stats and gives our best receivers (our runningbacks) a chance to get behind blockers and make plays down field. Terrible adjustments to blitzes, if we even have any.

In another thread it was made known that Henne throws to hard and is why White should get more snaps.

Henne played very well, didn't make any turnovers what do you expect when he has no recieving talent what so ever. And still had 200 yds passing. calm the F down

As bad as it may sound, this dolphins passing attack reminds me of the B-more offense a few years ago with Kyle Boller under the helm.

That was a sad offense and I sure in the hell hope what happened to Boller (never given anything to work with) doesn't happen to Henne. The NFL is all about window of opportunity. Teams give up on players I feel would thrive if given the proper supporting cast. If our F.O. isn't careful, Henne may get discourage and just start to not give a ****. I sure hope not but I don't blame the guy for getting mad during games. After all, it is his career too.
