There not "horrid", inconsistent yes, but not terrible. WR is also not as big of a need position as CB, OL, LB or even DL. Calvin Jonson probably is the best player in the draft but he will be long gone by the time we pick and i dont think we trade up to get him.

I dont deny an improvement at WR would be nice, but i dont think its nessecary. Especially without filling other holes.

To be fair your comparing against a top 5 WR in the NFL against a team with HUGE QB issues.

Harrington isnt exactly a superstar, he only threw for 12 TD's, its not all the WR faults.

Johnson is the BPA. This is true. But to move from #9 to #2 or even #1, ha...we wouldn't have a #1 pick til 2010. Anyway, the guy i'd hope for would be Samardzja in the 2nd. I don't want a burner, i just want a very solid handed receiver. Top that off with his height and playmaking ability, i feel he'd be a great one to incorporate with the offense.
