Ok, so...whats wrong with satele?

Why is everybody just assuming he will not be in the starting line up, from what Ive seen since his rookie year hes a good center, always hustling down the field, what the hell is going on here?
 
He's too small, he has short arms, he gets pushed around, and he doesn't play with a mean streak.
 
I don't think there is anything wrong with Satele. He is just small for the monsters he has to face in the division. I think he would make a great pulling guard. He can get up the field and block in space pretty damn well. If he bulks up Grove may have a fight on his hands for the starting center spot.
 
Everone saying he can't handle monsters you go outside and hit a tree with pads on with a toen labrum and see how it feels
 
Plus grove is crazy Strong.. They may be the same size/weight but Grove is much stronger.
 
I was complaining. I kept wondering why RB never had any room going up the middle. Satele is a good played but too small to be a good run blocking center. I hope Grove will do better, people are saying he is much stronger. I do want to see Satele stay and play guard though if he does lose his center job.
 
The better nose tackles simply manhandled and abuse Satele over and over. Ngata was throwing Satele around like a loaf of bread when we played the Ravens. Samson was the biggest reason on the o-line that we could not do anything in that game

yeah, but for some reason parcels and tony s. don't think he's cut out for his position . and if they believe that based on watching him up close in practice and also in games, i have no other reason but to believe it also. i know coaches are not always right, but something has to be to it, or i don't think they would try to replace someone that young.
 
Don't you people think that Parcells, Ireland and Sparano have watched loads of game tape on Jake Grove?? Some of you act like they just pulled his name out of a hat or something. We wouldn't have signed him to a $6 million per year contract if we didn't think he is the answer we need at center.

I am sure they watched lots of film on Wilford too.
