I would root for Oakland to lose to Indy too. That would mean New England has home field clinched next week. Better chance to win if for some reason Denver wins out
Just keep in mind that if Oakland loses and KC wins . . . KC controls the AFC West. We cannot get the 5 seed if KC wins the division.
If Oakland wins . . . and KC loses, then we control our 5th seed destiny next week with a win (but we will not have clinched a playoff spot).
If Oakland wins .. . . and KC wins, then we clinch a playoff spot and would need KC to lose next week to get the 5th seed (with a win against NE of course)
I'm hoping for a Denver loss. We clinch that way, we need to clinch.
At this point . . . Oakland is "mollywoppin" Indy . . . so a KC loss wouldn't allow us to clinch . . . but it opens up another scenario that a KC loss @ San Diego would get us in week 17 . . . if we happened to lose to NE.
