I just have to know. With all the Gus and Linehan bashing, I know that some people out there would be calling for Feeley to start if we still had him. My vote is hell no; Gus is bad, but not as bad as Feeley.

Gus is Fiedler with a stronger arm, I know, I know. But the truth is he just might be our best option right now.

And give Linehan a break already. Had Frerotte scored on that pass, or got a first down and went onto score, youd be saying how Linehan is a genius for switching it up and keeping the defense on their toes. But Frerotte made a bad decision and we lost the game. We should be used to QBs making poor decisions that lose us games by now.

Some good things I noticied about the game was our improving defense, our improved offensive line, and of course Ricky and Ronnie. Our receivers are still inconsistant and when this team does become good enough to contend for a SB, we will have a new QB and a receiver other than Chambers.

This is all a process. We knew coming into this season that we wouldnt be good, so why are you surprised now?

But just for my personal amusement, answer my first question: Would you want Feeley to start if we still had him??

why would we want feeley? at least sage keeps us in games and soesnt throw touchdowns to the opposition. remember pick 6? anyways, cleo is better than feeley, thats why we gave up feeley and a 6th to get him. or for them to take him off our hands. either way you look at it, either cleo is better than aj, or aj was so bad we had to get rid of him

I don't want Feeley back
I don't want Sage
I CERTAINLY DO NOT want Fee Fee back either!

I want this franchise to finally invest in a top prospect at QB for the future either via FA, trade or the draft.

With the protection Gus is getting from the oline and the emergence of a legitimate running threat I believe AJ wouldve been at least 5- 3 with this team that's how bad I think Gus is. If we actually had a good QB not great just good like delhomme we would be 7-1. if we had peyton 8-0.

imo saban cut aj and wont start sage or cleo because he simply doesnt want to deal with the growing pains a new starter requires. aj started for half the season last year and look how many picks for tds he threw. saban is a defensive coordinator who cant be bothered with the offense. he leaves that side of the game to his coaches. I have come to the conclusion that we will not be drafting a qb with our first rounder. maybe we draft one in the 3rd or 4th round just to say we did. imo saban is going either the free agency route or the trade route and bring in a veteran one that he doesnt have to be patient with. Saban never cared about the qb position just talk to people in louisiana. what he brings is a general winning approach and a defense. hopefully he brings someone in who is at least average we dont even need good just average to have a winning team

We were worse off with Feeley as our starter than we are now. At least we didn't give up a 2nd round pick for Frerotte.

Dude I'd rather have Fiedler than both of them and all 3 are garbage, just showing you how bad Frerotte and Feeley are.

I agree with everything you posted 100%.

This team was run into the ground.
As you stated, we all knew this was coming and expecting a first year coaching staff to solve all the personnel problems this team has is ludicrous, especially the QB position. QB's don't grow on trees and we had ZERO young talent being groomed.

I see improvement in the team and I'm satisfied with where they are right now.

Feeley NEVER had the protection Gus was getting today. All of Feeley's mistakes were the result of him being under constant pressure and forcing throws. Towards the end of the season he learned not to force something that wasn't there, that's why he threw 1 pick in the last 3 games. The only time he wasnt under pressure was the 1st quarter against Buffalo, and he tore them apart. Feeley still may have thrown some picks this season, but he definately would have made more plays as well.

And for the record, Fiedler was a hell of a lot better than Gus has been. With the protection and the running game being what it was, there's no excuse for Gus' pathetic play today. He's second only to Ray Lucas on the list of all time worst Dolphins QB's.

Feeley sucks! I'm looking forward to seeing what Lemon can do.

Oh God, no offense, but I'm not looking forward to Lemon leading this team anytime.

Talk about continuing a horrid trend at QB for this team.
Careful what you wish for man.
