Ok, no excuses here we took an ole fashion beating. If you really think about it, the 3rd QTR Its 13-6 Tampa and it's anyones game. Not to say before that point, we were doing anything. We were averaging 1 yard per play on first down VS Tampa who averaged 7 Yard Per play on First down.
3rd QTR the announcer put the whammy on us and say; Miami hasn't surrendered a point in the 3rd qtr this season, only NFL team to do so. The score was 13-6 at the time. 3rd and 1, Simms tosses back to Pittman and it looks like they are stopped for a loss and that could be a big play for us, JT flat out messed up and missed the tackle. Crowder didn't help. Pittman off to the races for an easy TD and now its 20-6.
Now we have surrendered 10 points in the 3rd qtr, thanks for the mention CBS. Frerrote who was terrible, fumbles and the BUCS take it all the way to the house for another TD 27-6 Game over folks.
So a game where on the road we hung tough and had a chance to comeback and win, we give the BUCS 17 Points in 4 minutes during the 3rd QTR. The Bucs dont score again, Ricky does get the First down at their 5, but it doesn't go our way.
If you look at this game, 3 plays bust it wide open. 2 of Pittmans big runs Poor Tackling and Frerrote and his key Fumble.
Not to mention they have no idea what to do with Ricky and Ronnie yet. We can't really tell if this will work after this game, the BUCS D was Stiffling.
Gus was absolutely TERRIBLE yesterday, just terrible. The O line took a step backwards and the D didn't feel like tackling. Not a good mix for a win, especially on the road.
The AFC EAST is still wide open. And if Saban can't get Miami to play the same way on the road as they do at home, we might be at least able to cheer into December. Our secondary isn't very good either and we have the Chiefs coming here, but it is at home. We will need to get the running game going and pound this team, keep their O off the field.
It is what it is. It's a first year team, going through growing pains on the road. That 3rd QTR we couldn't have been worse.
