From all indications Gus will be the starter come opening day. I will admit that I am in the AJ camp and am abit disappointed that he will not be the starter...but as a phin fan for 24yrs I say it's time we get behind one guy. Gus is the guy at this point in time so lets hope he gets it done.

Who is ready to join me?
 
I hope Gus wins the job, but obviously we should support whoever steps onto the field on opening day.

Untill then, it's back in the trenches =).
 
hope i don't end up bitting my tongue after my agreement with you. If gus is going to be the starter then we're going to have to support him and the dicisions of "The Nicktator"
 
I have said all along, whoever is named starter I will support.

I have also said all along, I had hoped it would be Feeley. JUST because he is younger and if he was playing well then we would have some stability at that position for a while. Since neither QB is really "lighting it up" and if NEITHER ends up lighting it up by the end of the season, I just hope we can get through this year and find our answer in next years draft.
 
i too, am an AJ fan. i still have some hope he could become #1. But when opening day hits, whoever is behing the helm, i will support.

I'll support whoever starts, but I will be the first person to scream when they screw up.

Gus is a proven average QB in the NFL. Year after year after year, he is a known average. Period.

AJ is still a question mark. He has shown great flashes and then absolutely horrible flashes.

Personally, I think this season will be a wash so I rather see Feeley behind center so we will know at the end of the season what he is. QB is a 2-3 year evaluation process as some of you know, I would like us to get through that process with AJ so next year we know how deep we are with our QB problems.
 
i guess i will be the first in this thread to post their desire, out of curiosity to see what either one of our less popular QBs can do in a starting role.

last season i was frustrated because sage didnt get a chance to play and after he played i kind of said eh ... ok.

but this season i find msyelf again wanting him to get a fair shot, to be considered a legitimate candidate for the starting QB job.

i wouldnt mind seeing berlin get a crack at it as well .... he reminds me of flutie a bit only a couple of feet taller.
 
I dont care if Marty Booker wins the QB spot..We just need a leader and some Victorys!
 
whoever is out there against denver is woh im rooting for

even in my madden season i put in frerotte after saban had him working primarily with the first teamers, haha... whoever is on our team im behind and i just want to play well and compete
