I have seen a draft scenario that has the first 8 picks as: Russell, Thomas, Peterson, Johnson, Anderson, Adams, Branch, Quinn.

That would leave the Dolphins with Brown, Landry or Okoye.

Some scouts say Okoye may have the best upside of any player.
He is highly intelligent, a great teammate that has a super work ethic and motivation and a future All-Pro.
 
Sounds like a great pick if we can get him. Release Carter, put Holliday back at DE and put Okoye as the starting DT. By releasing Carter it would save money for us to make a run at Deilman in FA.
 
He obviously has to be one of several options we have at #9 (assuming we stay there). Still too early to tell for sure what other teams will be doing in the draft, but f/a might give us a clue for some teams. I like this kid and I think he might be great for many years to come. But I'm concerned about taking a player in a position that we are not in too bad of shape versus those we are in BIG need of. I know the BPA mantra, but I think it would be tough to go either DT or S in this year's draft in the 1st for several reasons. But if he's the only real impact player left for us and we can't trade down, then we do have to consider him.

If we wouldn't have re-signed Holiday I think it would have been a no brainer to draft Okoye, but now I would defintely take Landry because of his leadership qualities.
