He was just a minutes ago on NFLN.
He was asked about his playing in the second year. He stated that he had to prepare better this year watching film, even during the season on the previous games and improve the technique.
Talking about the Martin and Cog saga, he was nice on his answer saying thant everything happen for a reason, for them it was a way to prove that they can go through adversity when everybody turned their back.
I see the toughness on this team on several aspects of their game, so if the poison does not kill you, it makes you stronger. Go Dolphins!

Toughness? Why there was a thread on here the other day saying this team lacked toughness. Are you sure you mean toughness?

Here's to another 3+ sack game for him on Sunday! Screw the patriots and stupid ass refs. Vernon should have not gotten that stupid penalty the first time we played

so because a thread was made, the entire fanbase has the same opinion?? :rolleyes2:

Was not me on that comment, for sure. Your perception of the game might be different, but it does not mean that is the one. For me going through adversity and winning in a hostile environment is a prove of toughness.

Winning could or could not change a perception, but this team have kept a strong group, their comments look as they are, their playing show some of it. Some times it is not enough to win games, it is required some talent as well, in the office and on the field.

Vernon's emergence has been one of the most pleasant developments on this team. I thought he might be good, but he's playing at a level now that exceeds my expectations.

As far as team toughness goes, that's one of the frustrating things about this team for me. Not only do they go back and forth looking tough (both mentally and physically) from game to game, it's often from series to series. I don't know that I can ever recall a more schizophrenic Dolphin team. We've had other teams that were 9-7 to 7-9, but you kind of knew what you had from week to week and what you needed to overcome. It's hard to find an area on this team that hasn't looked terrific at one point and abysmal at another.

Pleasant developments:

1. Charles Clay
2. Olivier Vernon
3. Nolan Carroll
4. Bryant McKinnie
5. Jimmy Wilson
6. Sam Brenner

I would put Tannehill and Grimes on the list except that I expected both to be as good as shown. I'd put Dimitri on the list if he hadn't gotten hurt. Daniel Thomas had the one big game but if he keeps it up he could make the list still.

Overall it is a decent list of pleasant surprises.

Just want to point out, that every last one of those players, were either drafted or bought here in free agency by..................Jeff Ireland. Tannehill and Grimes too. Ijs

If Paul Bermeister had done the interview, would they have made jokes about internet gurus?
