omar is fine, havent seen him enough to give an honest opinion...lionhard is the most pro-ready...im starting to like vince young...but marcus vick is already better than his bro(passing accuracy) right now...we will just have to wait until the season is over to see what happens..besides, who can we get with the 32nd pick in the first round..(yep, i said 32nd pick..meaning...you know what that draft position means) i love miami, and all miami lovers..(dolphins, not the HEAT...)

He'll have a chance to be a great pro when somebody rebuilds is mechanics from scratch.

There's no way he'll be remotely successful in the NFL setting up and throwing the way he does.

If people just look at his numbers, Jacobs is great, but if you watch him he's not impressive. I'm guessing the coaches make his reads for him, because before every play he looks at the sidelines, throws the ball like he's playing darts, and looks like a project to me. I have not been on the Jacobs bandwagon, and think he would be best served going to a team like the Titans or Kc, assuming that Green and McNair play a few more years, because I don't think he'll be a serviceable pro for atleast 3 seasons.

Better yet, look at his low release point and his inability to read the entire field. I've yet to see this guy go past his second progression, and why does he have to look to the coaches on the sideline before taking the snap?

He's got some innate physical skills, but I'm not seeing what it takes to be a quarterback in the mentality department.

the Dolphins NEED a QB who is good at rushing...aka. Michael Vick. They need a QB who can pass AND run very well, cuz our O-line wont block obviously, so we need a QB who can run the ball very well when being chased by linebackers....i think Omar Jacobs is just the guy, or Marcus Vick.
