Omart thinking Flynn is next Schaub

ALL WE CAN DO IS HOPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not so sold on Flynn like I was at the ending of the season.
I watched all of his throws and he is not so impressive.

Flynn has a noodle arm. There is no getting around that.
If the Fins decide to add him to the team, hopefully they pay him peanuts.
I am not sold that he(Flynn) will be the answer, just a way to appease for another season the fans clamoring for a franchise QB.
I believe our franchise QB will come from next years draft...Barkley or Jones. We should lining up our picks to make a run at one of those guys. They have physical skill sets, and more importantly arm strength that Flynn doesn't have.
Just mt .02

I'd be ok w/ that, I am not high on Schaub. To me he's just a guy who will put up nice #s but doesn't make plays to win games.

Yeah, 'Omar thinks' and 'Omar is thinking' isn't really grammatically correct. :d-day:

I got to give Hyde his props though, he somehow manages to make Omar look smart with the stuff he writes. He is really the heavy in that dumb and dumber pairing.

I don't know if Flynn is the answer or not but what I do know is that Omar knows nothing in terms of qb evaluations.

i see another kolb, feeley, feidler.

all qb's with short experiance, who got hype from flukey games [flynn the 6td farce and feidler the 70 point drubbing in marino's last game].

all signs point to just that with flynn. his own team didnt franchise him. they are loaded, dont need a whole lot and if rogers got hurt, then what? if flynn was the qb so many think he is, the packers wouldnt have exposed him to f/a. they would have franchised him with the plan of either they would get big pics for him or if not, they have a big time insurance for a rogers injury.

there are more than a few teams who need a quality starter, an upgrade. so far, no takers. NO offers for a starting gig.

funny how some just either cant or wont see whats right in front of them. all these things concidered, it is WAY to big a risk to sign him and its a FAR better bet he is likely to fail than succeed.

i just dont get how so many think he is the smart move. playing with philbin before doesnt mean that much. JP was doing the MIKE McCARTHY version of the wco and more than likely will be going to much more of a traditional wco that wont feature as much fun and gun from the shotgun. we dont have the ALL WORLD wr's he had in green bay either. and as it looks now, he wont have any where NEAR the o-line he had with the pack.

i hope we pass on him. there is just to much risk showing right now.

I felt the same way when you spun that yarn the other day about your "friend" who has Brandon Marshall as a "client."

I think Flynn could easily be closer to Schaub or Hasselback than to Kolb or Feely. The reality is none of us will know until he signs somewhere. When I read "I watched all his throws" I have to laugh. Watching a you tube video does not make you an NFL scout.
