In this game Tannehill had better pocket awareness. I liked how he avoided sacks, used his legs and made some good throws (some were dropped!).

Obviously it's a Tannehill thread so here is the negative.

He over Threw a wide open Landry in the 4th qt.... I know he was running and threw off his back foot but Landry was wide open....
Forced a pass to Stills that could of been INT.
Jordan Cameron dropped a beautiful pass down the middle.

P.S

Jarvis Landry needs to practice less 1 handed catches and catch a bullet to the numbers... or, try catching it 1 handed. That was sick. It was the easiest chest pass I have seen dropped for a sure handed WR.

overall Tannehill had a good game.. worked out well because the loss helped our draft position but our defense really does suck

The guy looked pretty good. Amaizing what Audibles can do for you. Shouldn't he have been allowed to audible the past 4 years. Honestly he is still the guy and I still believe Campbell is too.

I don't agree with the Campbell part, but I agree RT had a good game. I think having him more involved in the protection calls at the line, changing plays and more of a downfield attack suit him better than our gimmicky offense under Lazor.

Looked more like he was in control of the offense tonight.

Did more with his body than stand in the pocket like a statue.

Should have chewed Landry's ass after that personal foul.

I was very pleased. Honestly, I feel this was Tanne's best game (Footwork, escaping the pocket and making plays wise).

Tannehill was pretty damn good last night on a big stage. He's been downright awful at times this year but it seems like a really bad idea to give up on him at this point

He looked good, said it in the game thread too, like a QB is supposed to look by escaping the rush and throwing downfield. Less bubble screens, less drops, and those numbers look a lot better. Not going to take away from him on one missed pass to Landry that was a broken play, though I would have rather he ran it to be honest.

His pocket presence was fantastic, and he made the throws necessary in the 4th but there were drops that could have changed the game. Not to mention not the final two drives started 1st and long from dumb penalties. What was encouraging is with Tannehill being involved in the offense and having room to audible there was a very notable difference in his play. Not to mention a more passionate display on the field.

Agree with his pocket presence looked better but he missed to many receivers and should have run more when given the chance.

definitely helped. you can handcuff your qb and not allow him to audible. but again dallas almost got him killed, and we abandoned the run way to early

He played well enough for a win tonight. This was one of his better games this season but his teammates didn't give him much help. 7-9 here we come!

I would say this was his best game of the season...I'm not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing...

I almost started a thread saying the same thing. Tannehill navigated the pocket well and got more involved after he took a few early run plays and got hit. Seems to be his thing. Get him engaged by getting him hit. It was a good game from #17.

He looked like a different QB IMO. The audible call to Stills for the TD was awesome.
