The Washington Post reports the Miami Dolphins reportedly are close to trading a seventh-round draft pick to the Kansas City Chiefs for veteran QB Trent Green.

I think a 7th rounder is a fair deal....he may have another decent year left in him so it is a good insurance policy for now...I still hope we can draft a QB like Kolb.

yeah the draft pick isnt anything, its his contract. i thought i read somewhere his contract pays him like 7 million next year. i dont think we can afford that, were already paying culpepper that.

Yeah, Miami wants him to restructure his contract in order to make a trade. However now i believe that he is going to do that, i mean put 2 and 2 together.......Its reported that CC has a press conference tomorrow, and now its been reported weve offered a 7th rounder. It could as well be about Carr...as Green.
