On December 3, 1973 Dick Anderson had four interceptions, two which he returned for touchdowns, in a 30-26 Monday night win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

How many remember that one? Maybe the best individual defensive performance in Miami Dolphins history.

I sure remember that game…..and what a game it was!!
Jake Scott and Dick Anderson. Number 13, and number 40 of the no name defense. Wow…..great memories indeed. Dick Anderson during that game returned two of those 4 interceptions for touchdowns. He ended up with 8 ints that year and was name defensive player of the year.
Shula called that game by Anderson the best defensive back performance he had ever seen.
Best Dolphins safety tandem we’ve ever had.
