Once Travis Daniels is healthy................

I feel as if we can have a pretty formiddable secondary, everybody is in panic mode right now about depth but think about it with daniels' toughness, w. allen's speed, goodman's ball skills, renaldo hills tackling skills, and j.allens range we should be good not great but good in the secondary. Along with our front line being one of the best in the league, our secondary may surprise alot of folks around the NFL including the doubters on this board. Nick Saban brought all these guys in for a reason and im starting to get the point i just wish some of my fellow finfans would see the light!!!!!!!!

Good point, its just frustrating that we keep having so many injuries. I think our starting four if its Allen, Daniels, Allen and Hill will do well. Having Goodman, Bell, and Tillman relieving them we do have some talent back there and with the schemes and the pressure from the front 7 we could have a very good pass D.

I agree, regardless of whos starting either Goodman or Daniels, at the very least we have a good nickle back. Belll would come in on dime packages as a fourth corner. The only thing that worries me is if any of our top 3 corners go down. While Jackson is a solid special teamer I don't feel comfortable with him seeing significant playing time.

I hope your right but im kinda scared.The secondary is our weak point on defense for sure.I didnt see the 1st preseason game but i didnt hear 1 good thing about the secondary.I no J.Allen and Daniels didnt play and i hope they can help out when they get on the field.

I mean the most important thing is that we are gonna have one of the top front seven's in the league. So right there, the secondary is upgraded. Not to mention we have "capable" guys with speed back there. No all stars, but guys who can succeed with the defense and coaching that they are in/receive. I think we will be fine.

I agree. I forgot where I read it, but Saban is much happier with the personnel this year. Last year we were bad because we the starters weren't that great and the depth was horrible. This year we have the players and I have no doubt Saban will coach them up.
