One disturbing thing from the game

Td was a blown pass off coverage by the rookie corner cj henderson. They had the right call vs it just didn’t execute.

Dvp remains the teams biggest threat although he’s gonna have to get to where he can open up fully

Hoops is just a Gesicki hater. We know your weren't a fan of his after his rookie year (neither was I) but it's ok to admit wrong and be pleasantly surprised.

You put your best players on the field. Period. Kelce, 98%, Engram 97% Waller 93%, Ertz 94%. 52% is criminal with his talent.
I think they're trying to develop Gesicki more and don't want him to think he has "made it" yet.

But you're right, forget that he is a TE, just treat him as a Jarvis Landry type player ... slot WR who is always a threat. He doesn't block, but he presents opportunities for big plays. When he's on the field, you always have a size outlet for the rush, therefore mitigating his liability in pass pro. While he doesn't help much in the run game, he does keep a safety honest because he is an excellent seam threat on play-action, and LB's can't cover him. If the safeties cheat up to stop the run, BAM, 40 yard play up the seam to Gesicki.

Today's NFL is about matchups. Gesicki is a mismatch TE, he is a matchup nightmare for the defense ... you want him on the field as much as possible. The only thing I can really see to keep him off the field is that you want to reward him with playing time as he hones particular aspects of his game ... which probably include run blocking, pass pro, and running precise routes. Gesicki is extremely talented ... but he's still developing his skills.

Only issue I have is that now we have to wait a week and a half for the next game.
After only 3 weeks I need the break. 0-2 was tough now we get a breather.

We ran the ball last night.. did you notice we didn't throw the ball in the 2nd half.. maybe if he could block like mack hollins he would be playable with cox on the field

Put your best matchups on the field. Down and distance dictate personnel packages, but I would like to see more passing sets on 1 and 2nd down.

I forgot who it was that beat the OLB down the sideline and drew the PI. I think it was Bredia. But that's was a perfect call. Wish it was caught for 6.

I can buy this. Case in point did you see the block that Mack Hollins laid on the final run by Gaskin? He was lined up at TE.

That run was kind of a bad beat for the guy who took Minshew over 320 yards passing. Minus the first down the Dolphins punt it away and Jacksonville will have 15 or 20 seconds for Hail Mary action.

But another example of never taking a bad number. Minshew went over the actual betting line of 265.5 but well under the homemade prop of 320.

When I first moved to Las Vegas in 1984 the beauty of the situation was homemade props like that were all over the place. Guys who ran the sportsbooks would get bored and throw something up there. It was identical to that 320. Invariably way too high. That's why I quickly became known as, "The Undertaker."

Lots of us moved out of town when that type of thing was no longer available anymore, due to corporate mergers and more conservative sports book mentality, not putting up anything that isn't sent to them by the chief Nevada oddsmaker.
