One Final RB comparison before tomorrow

OK guys, we are less than 24hrs from the draft so I figured I'd make one last thread on the RBs. Here are highlight vids of all three and I ask you to check em out, and then post who you want. I know the highligh videos have the ability to change people's minds, and this is why I made this thread, to see if your top 3 RB order changes after watching everyone's videos. I know mine did. Cedric is still #1 for me, but Caddy moved into #2 and my opinion of Brown actually DROPPED after seeing his video. Anyway, here are the vids, enjoy, and post who you want if we go "big 3 RB" in round 1 tomorrow. Remember, this is based just on preference from the videos, this isn't taking into account the position we pick in or trade down's so don't be like "well, I like this guy the best bt he isn't worth #2 overall" or "I like this guy but he won't be available if we trade down to this pick" etc etc, this is just a "who do you like better out of the three" thread.

(I still LOVE that 1st run where he takes it up the middle and just PLOWS over the Tennessee guy and stratches out for the TD)

So there are videos on all three. Before I saw them all my order was Benson, Brown, Williams. After watching them it is Benson, Williams, Brown.

I've seen the videos. I've made my decisions, and mark my words -- Ronnie Brown will be the most dominant big-man tailback in a long time. Hate me now.
 
Looking at these again, I think Benson is far better than the other two. He just makes plays happen when there is nothing. The other guys are getting world class blocking. And he catches and blocks very well.

I don't think it will happen, but Benson is my pick.
 
You should have watched the NFL Draft show today. Merrill Hodge was breaking down the film of Ronnie Brown.

They showed his running ability. For those of you who think he doesn't have great vision or the ability to make people miss, the film they showed completely debunked that myth. Ronnie Brown makes the first tackler miss at the LOS, and he can make cuts in the open field. Plus, he shows tremendous patience in setting up his blockers.

They showed his receiving ability. There are wide receivers that can't catch the ball as cleanly as Ronnie Brown. He's got better and more consistent hands than Braylon Edwards.

They showed his blocking ability. He not only makes the block. He puts defenders on their back when he blocks them.

Best player in the draft!! Ronnie Brown!
 
Benson, Brown, Caddy....Bensons video is FAR MORE IMPRESSIVE than the 2 of those guys. He reminds me so much of Ricky but looks even better...he will be leading the league soon. I dont think we will take ANY of these runningbacks, so all of you Ronnie Brown lovers are in for a disappointment. My honest opinion is that Benson will be the best of the 3 though.
 
it doesn't matter. we aren't going to get any of those guys. WHy? Because it would be awesome if we did. And nothing awesome ever happens to the fins.

That's nice that you don't think we will get a top 3 RB. I think we won't get Smith.
 
saban will draft ronnie brown if no one ofers us a trade down deal count on that braylon is just draft pick bait

LOL, I think you are thinking of the Dave W days as a coach, and hopefully Saban doesn't give us reason to keep thinking like you are right now.

I agree with fin-atic and phinfan31, I think he is far more impressive. I think if I hadn't been for him since day 1 then the videos prolly would have definately swayed me in his favor, they are just so much more impressive. If you watch the Brown highlights closely he fumbles TWICE, and there is that bobbled pass, I bet it made the video cuz he brought it in, but still, he struggled with it in the initially. Ronnie is good, and I'm not trying to take anything away from him or his talent, but I think Bensons is better and will make a better all around difference. Brown may be BETTER at recieving and blocking, but Benson is still more than capable at both, and Benson is the better RUNNER of the two, and being a RB, that kinda gives him the edge IMO. And I love Caddy's Flashyness when he runs, he's a creatve runner that is fun to watch

I think Ronnie also finishes his runs better than any other back in the draft.

I've already detailed how he averaged more yards per touch than the other two, but quite a large margin.
 
Who cares there all studs!
All I want is one of the top three. For that matter a second round pick may do just aswell! The draft is loaded with RB's.
 
Fumbled twice? The first "fumble" was 3 steps after he was in the endzone against Kentucky and the second "fumble" was 2 steps after stepping out of bounds while extending the ball over the goalline. I guess if you want to bash a player bad enough, you'll make up stuff to do so. I guarantee whoever picks Brown will be very glad they did the next 5 years.
