One Main Advantage Miami Has Over New England

Not trying to downplay it. But is our offensive "speed" really that much "faster" than other teams speed on offense?
Certainly, for the Dolphins this is the fastest we've been for quite some time.

But is it more hype at this stage?

It’s faster than New England. Kansas City probably the fastest by far.

I think it’s how ridiculously fast Miami’s skill players are collectively. Wilson, grant, stills, and even Parker are well above average in speed. Drake is a fast running back. Hell even tannehill is a fast quarterback.

It was a beautiful thing watching Wilson pull away from the field on that run, awesome look as your watching it live, as if he was moving at another speed along with Grant.

Are they that much faster than other teams O? Idk but it was fun to see.

Are we that much faster then NE offense?

IDK, I think we might be "a" receiver faster.

RB White vs. Drake
WR Dorsette, Gordon, Hagan, Patterson vs. Still, Grant, Wilson, Parker
TE Gronk vs. Gelsicke
QB Brady vs. Tannehill...Lol

When I look at that matchup I only clearly see us being "a" receiver faster on offense. Of course, minus the QB comparison.

Having speed is one thing but if a guy doesn't really play I wouldn't count his speed as part of the o. Patterson to me is not important, Gordon is fast but other than that our wrs blow their wrs out of the water. I'm not 100 percent on James white but he appears to be more quick and shifty than outright fast? I could be wrong though. Also having four wrs who can run a 4.4 40 is crazy, and all four wrs contribute on o

I definitely agree with the combo of being fast AND being able to make plays with that ability. All 4 of our receivers(Parker...well) can legitimately score from anywhere on the field.

I don't think it is ONLY speed. I think it is combination of speed, agility and ability to make the first person miss. Just looking at our division, I don't see any team that can match us with regard to WR quality and depth.

I think its pretty simple when you have one guy who has speed you must account for him like Mike Wallace. What do you do with 5 Wallaces on the field. These guys are running 4.4 or better and know where they are going! The defender is slower, adjusting to the route and must not only have speed but make up speed from a swivel. Thats what speed is doing for this group. We have already had a lot of long TD’s and missed on about 3 by just a yard. Lets see how they come together over the next few weeks, this O could be feared real soon.

The entire video is good but go to 2:26 if you want to skip to Dolphins coverage. Really good stuff here.

Thanks for posting that, but Carter lost me in the first 30 seconds of that video when he said that Philip Rivers was consistent. lol
