Okay... what the crap is wrong with all the supposed Dolphins fans out there? Not everyone, but you know who you are.

We were one play away from winning this game, a game that most people didn't give us a chance in... the first game of the season for a team that's over 60% new, and people are making threads about how horrible we are, and "here we go again" etc. etc....

I sure thought it was an entertaining game. We did NOT play good the majority of the game, AND we overcame some crazy stuff (some terrible punts, some missed calls, etc.) and we STILL were 10 seconds away from winning the game. I know I don't speak for everyone, but I was pretty happy with what I saw. We have a TON of room to improve on little things like the penalties. And the ball is NOT always going to bounce the other team's way (seriously... that Favre pass for TD #2????).

I thought our D stepped up a lot and put us in a position to win. The QB was able to move us down the field when our running game was dead... Our special teams partially blocked a punt. We've got a LOT of young guys who looked good in a rebuilding year... and we were 10 seconds short of beating the team over sixty million in free agency this year to win now.

I for one thought we looked very promising and I think we will only get better this year... and I'm tired of the so called fans that throw in the towel after 1 game, or after 1 quarter for that matter based on some of those posts... REALITY CHECK GUYS... we can't win all 5, 6, or 7 of our games in week 1...

We Almost Won.. Just Wait And See What Happens When Chad Gets The Offense Down. We Should Have Won We Had A Early Attempt At A T.d That We Missed..

Exactly... every single play just happened to fall the Jets way today... the non-call on running into the punter... flagging Roth for love tapping Favre, that BS floater to Stucky for a TD, the no-call on the delay of game, crap, even the blocked punt that magically rolled about 30 more yards... etc. etc...

For us being as young as we were and being that close to winning/ not giving up, I thought we looked VERY promising. Those kinds of BS lucky bounces are not going to go the other way every game.

I agree. These so called Phin fans live in a reality where we are going to become a playoff team in a year. We were huge underdogs (Based on bias Favre media), and we came 1 play from winning. However, we are IMMENSELY improved and we are not the same as last year. 6-10, 7-9, or 8-8 is reasonable. Below or above is not.

Whatever. We werent huge dogs. It was a 3 point spread. No reason we couldnt have won. We made about 5 or 6 key mistakes that any one of couldve cost us the game. It was a huge game(divisional game) that we needed.

No one is demanding or even expecting a playoff season, but there certainly isnt any reason we cant get it done. Hell, with Brady gone its anyones division. Winning a divisional game in week 1 wouldve given us a good start at it.

We should all be dissapointed and some of you who are acting like we played our best game....we didnt. There shouldnt be much patting on the backs after this loss. We needed this win. It was there, it was ours for the taking.

And whoever said "Whenever Pennington gets the offense down" what are you talking about???? He already has the offense down. He was by far our best offensive player and really the only guy who played well on offense. As soon as our OL decides to block better and we get another receiver we will have a good offense. Get real.

I'm with you my man but I was there and to me it looked like Pennington sucked! On a lot of throws he didn't even give the receivers a chance to make a play. Whether it was nerves or not, I don't know. I guess he gives us the best chance to win but I can sorta see why the Jest let him go. Hopefully we'll build on this and get better. That was my observation. We still got a long way to go though!

Thats the truth. You fans need to stop saying "We did a good job, we are rebuilding!" "I like what we saw, Promising!". No, That is not good enough. We lost, we played the game pretty terrible, and thus lost the game. There is no positives when you lose. Coach Soprano said it perfectly.

QUOTE:

"Oh, I'm disappointed. I'm disappointed for the people in hat locker room, I'm disappointed for all those coaches and all our fans," Sparano said. "I mean, we worked really hard for this, but there's 16 of these and we've got 15 more to go. I'm somewhere here you go back and watch the film, it's never as good as you think, it's never as bad as you think, and that's a true statement. We'll show out players what they need to do better, and we'll show them what they did well, and we'll get ready to next week versus Arizona."

I agree with Milldog that Penny did look bad for the first quarter about. After he got a rhythm going, he was as good as Jett Favre.

I Dont Care If It Was 1 Play Away Or Not It Doesnt Matter If You Lose, A Lost Is A Lost And A Win Is A Win!!!

I bet Sparono is thinking the same thing.....the outcome is all that matters

Agreed. We do have some pretty awful fans that need to hop on a different "bandwagon". You act just like the damn Bengals fans.

Pennington was pretty jumpy at first, but he did get in rhythm after a while. Hopefully we have those week one jitters away. I think we played well. minus a couple of plays.

Why do we need to have seperate groups of fans on this site always? for the longest time it was the pro-Becks and the anti-Becks. Now its the We Did Good's and the We Sucked The Bag's. Why can't we all just get along?!?!?!
