Through 4 games we have 1 wide receiver that has caught a touchdown pass. Our Te's have actually outscored them 3 to 1 and Chris Chambers on 11 receptions has outscored them 5-1. I know there are reasons that we would not have alot because we dont throw deep but that really speaks to the playmaking abilities of our receiving corp that they have not made more out of thier oppertunites.

I think that you could make that argument with a lot of stats...the only one that's positive is the single drop...everyone pretty much figured the WRs would struggle since the start of the season.

The stats you're quoting are a result of our QB not having a big arm more than anything. What matters is that it's not a weakness that has cost us games.

I think it cost us the Jets game. Once we fell behind, the running game was thrown out the window.
There has been no "quick strike" ability on this offense. Ginn is supposed to be that guy, BUT, after TWO full TC's he is still "learning" how to run pass patterns.

Sloppy, undisciplined play on both sides of the ball cost us that game. That suicide lob that Favre threw should've been a pick, but instead it was a completely improbable score. It won't happen again.

Why do we need them seeing as how our Running game is flowing. As long as the ball crosses the Goal line that is all that matters. The Receivers are doing an EXCELLENT job at making the plays they need to make to keep the Offense on the field. They are catching the ball and moving the chains.

Then when it comes to the endzone, just allow the O-line men to complete the task for you. Smash mouth play, This is not the west coast :)

The receivers have zero drops, Fasano has the only drop on the team. It's not like there has been opportunities for them to catch TD passes that they've let slip away. Ronnie's been unstoppable in the Red Zone, and because of this, the receivers lack touchdown receptions.

dude for you to have the ability for a quick strike, you need a qb with the canon and velocity. Chad Pennington is clearly no that guy. any ways I am satisfied with him because he is better then anything we have had.
