Even on a day when little went right for the Miami Dolphins, how can you not notice Greg Camarillo? How can you not marvel over two plays in particular? How can you not appreciate the long road Camarillo has traveled since suffering a serious knee injury about 10 months ago?
Greg Camarillo is the type of player you wish you could clone. Put him in the defensive backfield. Have him run down special teams. Maybe even bring him in as a coach. There is little wonder why Tony Sparano talks of Camarillo with such affection. He is, plain and simple, an unusual breed.
"I just hopefully play the game the way it's supposed to be played," Camarillo said after the loss to the Falcons. "It's the way I've always played."
