USAToday gave Miami 1 star out of 5 for their draft. Geez, I know everyone is up in arms about the pass on Quinn, but I think the first 6 picks were pretty good. I think all will be contributing to the team next year.

Who cares..Its USA today...Let them stick to politics and news and the sports stuff to us

The media drives me crazy. They had a pretty boy pegged at getting drafted early, used this pretty boy to generate advertising revenue, and then when the guy slides, which proves what the expert scouts and coaches make of this guy, they won't admit that they were wrong. I've found reading most post-draft news sources to be useless. They reiterate the same stuff they said before.

...and?

no opinionated articles, magazines, or predictions mean anything mean anything about the future success/failure of the dolphins. hell if anything i want the articles to be bad and pessimistic for us, that will only make the victories that much sweeter when the season starts.

ginn pick was a bit controversial...it was.....but it may come back to bite everyone who is against it...the guy can flat out play....as for beck.....great pick...satele is better than kalil and bigger too.....booker dont know just yet but definitely a playmaker.....solial was a great pick.....mormino is another good addition and mauia is a beast of a FB who will take over....i give our draft a solid B right now

No argument here. Out of all ten of our picks, I'd say we made three "value" picks. Satele, Soliai, Mormino and Smith were the only solid picks. Ginn was a reach. Beck was a necessary reach after we passed on Quinn. Booker is a third-down back only, not a good value with a third round pick. I find it hard to believe Mauia would have been drafted. Fields may have been attainable as a UDFA as well.

Yep, all else fails, blame the media. I heard that a lot during the Wannstedt and Saban eras.

people who feel Quinn was overrated are going to give us a good grade and people who sucked Quinn's.....toes are going to say it was a terrible draft

Classic case of "hey, it's what others are syaing, besides I'm to lazy to do my own research"!
