the refs.....

I mean did you see the Peele touchdown called back???

you know THAT was BS....

there were like 3 other plays that we could have had,yet the refs pulled the rugs rigt from under us.....

I usually don't like to complain about the refs but they were really bad that night.

The touchdown called back.
Ginn getting tackled out of bounds.

yeah...I mean,I dont really complain aobut them either...I believe this is the first thread I dedicated to them....

I listened to the game on sirius and everyone was complaining about the refs....we arent the only ones. I agree after watching the replay yesterday morning....hey its pre-season for them as well.

Yea that should have been a touchdown, Peele took like 4 steps in the endzone!

And also that fumble that the fins forced on Special teams that was recovered by Miles and then negated by a penalty as well...(I think on a penalty by Peele too?)

Yeah, it was pretty bad.

Whether they used the "possession" rule correctly or not... three steps and a knee down in the endzone with ball control should be an automatic touchdown. I don't care what he did on his 4th/5th step.

I watched the reply of the TD to Peele probably 6 times on Tivo. I can't understand why it was not a TD -- I think the ref's definately blew the call both on the field and in the booth.

It was a beautiful throw and catch!!

The TD was a blown call..... but ever since we got Chad, he scored on the next play, or the play after that. When is the last time we've seen that? Usually in the past, it was one shot only.

I was at the game and it seemed like the ref intentionally turned off his speaker so the crowd wouldnt hear why he negated the TD. Kinda like he knew he was wrong but didnt give a crap. That was a horribale call...

As for the non-call on Henne getting thrown to the ground... I think the rule is if the ball is batted on the line the QB is fair game (because there is a possibliity he can get the ball) as long as he doesnt get hit in the head. Although I was screaming for the penalty at the game... Those refs were TERRIBLE...

I think that we would have challenged the catch in the regular season and we would have gotten the TD. Sometimes I think the refs make the call expected a replay to help them out if they missed it.

Don't forget the late hit on our QB after he threw the ball.

actually it was a deflected ball and possibly could have been intercepted. Anything that goes up/backwards makes it fair game for everyone. Such as... well off the top of my head. Our season ending game to the pats in 02. Fiedler jumped up to knock the ball out of the air, he was hit... but even if he was hit b4.. it wouldn't be roughing the passer. It's only called if its a straight pass, not a deflection at the line. It was the right call to let it go.. besides, he only tapped him and he fell on his *** =\

Yea that should have been a touchdown, Peele took like 4 steps in the endzone!

5 steps actually, 3 feet in and a knee (knee ='s 2 and + 3 = 5) ;p bad call. it's like someone running down the field after a catch... gets knocked out of bounds and then bobbles the ball... and calling it incomplete. Posession occured way b4 the bobble

The TD ruled out of bounds didn't really matter. All it did was give the offense a little more work in the red zone. In regular season I get bent out of shape over this stuff. Seems like the refs hate the Dolphins:( The late hit out of bounds was unacceptable to have a player literally thrown that far out of bounds. KCs coaching staff will probably get on that guy when they see the tape, you just can't make mistakes like that.

I am not sure if you are old enough to remember the 82/83 Superbowl against the Redskins. There was a play were the Dolphins almost had a pick right at the Skins goaline and Theisman knocked it away at the last second. It was a sure TD that would have put the Dolphins up 24-10 or 24-13 late in the 3rd quarter or early 4th. That play quite possibly cost the Dolphins a championship so I have no problem with the rule:)

i thought Larry Johson broke the plain when he dove for his TD to start the 2nd half. but like usual, our staff didn't care or just wasn't aware and didn't try to challenge it.
