From a winning season since 2008. Of course everyone is thinking playoffs but we should all agree that a winning season would do wonders for this
team's future going forward. Despite everything that has happened with injuries, bias officiating, i never seen a dolphins team keep battling and never stop until the
game is over. I am only 27 so i haven't seen much dolphin teams (while most being bad), but Adam Gase has really done a tremendous job with this team.

I hope they make the playoffs and keep proving everyone wrong.

Go Phins!

Pretty darn impressive for his first season, especially after the 1-4 start. That would've been disaster for most teams with a rookie head coach, but he found a way to rally his team! If we end up reaching the playoffs, especially now with a backup QB for the stretch run, he should be in serious talks for Coach of the Year!

Backup QB, OC, 3 LBs, CB, Safety, and 2 injured OGs. I predicted 6 to 9 wins with FEW injuries.

In my opinion, he's already a Coach of the Year candidate. What he did with this team should raise eyebrows across the league. He turned this team around after a slow start, and now they are RELEVANT in December. Despite all the injuries, they are finding new ways to win every week. Helluva job so far!

I would be perfectly happy with one final win to clinch a winning season. Even if they dont make the playoffs, but finish 9-7 ... thats a success in my eyes, and something to build off of for next year considering where this team was after that disastrous 1-4 start.

I agree with all of thee above but want to win out because it is the Jets, Bills, and Patriots!

I will be happy with 9-7, Gase has been great, but.....I will be disappointed if we miss out on the playoffs.

I get baby steps and having realistic expectations with injuries and such, but we've come too far to be satisfied with 9 wins. 9-7 means they went 2-3 down the stretch (or 1-2, whatever seems worse) and the Dolphins would finish with the worst record of any team with a six game winning streak this decade. Let's go get that 10th or 11th win and crash the playoff party.

I'm really good with what Gase has accomplished already. All wins going forward will be exceeding my expectations by far. Playoffs would be amazing but I won't write off all he has done if we miss it this year.

Its been one helluva ride.

Its funny to crave gut-wrenching anxiety only to hate it when it keeps you from sitting still.

I never thought id be watching this late in the season with jitters. I am deeply grateful.

And it aint over yet b!tches!

We're 8-5. All that means to me is that 9-7 will be a disappointment. You have to live in the now in the NFL. We've gotten to 8-5 with some clutch wins and an amazing turnaround from the 1-4 start. That doesn't suddenly mean we should be happy if we lose 2 of the next 3 games.

And as far as 9-7 being something that will "carry over" into momentum for 2017...did our 11-5 record and playoff appearance in 2008 carry over?

2008 was a fluke with the Wildcat and Chad Pennington putting up a 97.4 qb rating. The team was never as good as that record. More like a 8-8 or 9-7. We saw more of that in the next half decade to come.

Hard for me to be disappointed this year. I thought this was a 6-7 win team and they honestly should have been worse when you consider all the injuries. No excuses that's how you get better. Well done coach.
