Alan Faneca, Flozell Adams that will help sure up the O-line and DE/OLB, Chris Long, Virginia to help with the pass rush J Taylor is getting hurt alot and is older and our lack of a pass rush hurt us all season. Don't forget people games are won and lost in the trenches. We also need a big DT.:up:
 
I have to disagree. These guys have two years left before their play declines, if not sooner for Flozell. Bring in young guys that will be with the rest of the young guys for years to come and let them create a chemistry together. If we missed a wild card spot last year, then yea I would say bring them in, but that surely wasn't the case. Lets rebuild, not get older and then need to find new players for those guys once were competing. On top of all that both are going to demand huge dollars to finish out their careers.
 
Flozell stinks. This guy's going to get a huge contract and he gets penalized like crazy. That's definitely one thing that Miami does not need.
 
I rather have a 5 yard pently and the down back then a 10 yard sack and a loss of a down.
 
Age is an issue yes but we need an o-line to let our qb's have time and build confidence in the pocket. They can play and help teach for the next 3 years the younger o-linemen.
 
flozell and faneca should go to contenders. they won't be around once we're in the hunt again. doesn't make sense with so much o-line talent in the draft.
 
I have issues with Alan Faneca, the man does not take care of his body as a professional athelete should. Relies on his natural power which has been fine up until now but he is'nt a spring chicken now so he better get his butt in the gym and start developing his musculuture.
 
You are going to tie up serious money in both of them.

I would look at someone like Starks from Pittsburgh at tackle and Smiley from San fran. No way I am tying up 20 million on two guys with maybe two years left. Faneca will command big money. And as of today, there is a strong chance Adams will re-sign with Dallas. I agree that finding a veteran NT to guide a rookie that will be drafted would be a good thing. But not much out there without requiring a trade.

The new offensive line coach's strength is in development of young linemen. I don't disagree that veteran OL can help, but there are cheaper options.
