Only 3 more years of infield dirt!

It's about freak'n time IMO. Any City that would make a football team share a field with a roidball team don't deserve a NFL team IMO. In 3 years the only thing we will have to deal with is the Canes tearing the field up on Saturdays. At least the stupid freaking dirt won't cost us games anymore.

This is great news for us Dolphans. I'm NOT a Marlins fan at all, so even better for a guy like me with no ties to that team!

I dunno if I'd say it's better for people with no ties to the team... Being a die-hard Marlins fan, I was almost brought to tears of joy when this deal got done yesterday. No more watching baseball in a football stadium, and no more watching football be played on dirt. It's a good thing all around.

GO FISH!

Can't wait to go to the new stadium in 2012. Btw, those of you who don't care about the Marlins shouldn't be so happy. After all, the Dolphins make quite a bit of cash from Marlins games.

Carpenter seemed to have little trouble with the dirt. it was just general suckiness by Mare.

When exactly has the dirt cost us games? It didn't cost us any last year, and before they entered their suckage spell (2004-2007), they didn't start to lose games until December when the dirt was gone. Also, I'm willing to bet there's just as many, if not more, steroid users in the NFL.

Thats Generalizing if I ever heard it myself. Btw the marlins normally house players in their up and commin years, you know before they start pumping the steroids :):lol2:

Why would I care how much money the Dolphins make off the Marlins? It doesn't affect whether the Dolphins win or lose. Go Phillies! Haha.

The dirt cost us more injuries than games. Plus, Mare couldn't kick for crap off that surface and I'm sure most kickers aren't as accurate from that type of surface. So, good riddance.

No offense, but F the Phillies! :chuckle:

The Dolphins and the Canes shared the Orange Bowl for years before the Dolphins moved to JRS. Nobody seemed to have a problem with that. I get the beef with infield dirt. It sucks, baseball sucks, you can't get good traction, bigger risk of injury, etc.

The only problem I have with the Canes sharing the field with the Phins is that we only get to have our field painted up nice once their season is over. I love our endzones once the Canes are gone.

Oh, and baseball is awesome. :D
