If he's not let go by Sunday he's guaranteed 3 mill so if they don't get rid of him by then he's playing for us in 2015. I think he's staying, specially if Clay leaves. It'd be hard for Tannehill to lose 4 of his 5 top targets in one off season. Of course when Manning went to Denver all the receivers were new to him but that's manning we're talking about. Do you guys think he's staying or leaving?
Ozzy rules!!

I think he's a gonner, very lititle coming out about him.

I think he's gone. There's some nice alternatives in free agency and The draft.

You can't keep a player who quits during a game.

What do we gain from cutting Wallace this season? June designation, what is the savings? Is it any??

I don't know, the guy is a quitter, but its probably best we keep him around 1 more year. We can't have too much change around Tannehill this year. We need Ryan comfortable this year so he continues to progress. Crucial year for Mr. Tannehill. That means bringing in more weapons and more protection, not less.

2015 should be a transition period.. hit on a rookie WR in the draft, bring in a guy on a prove it deal (shorts comes to mind), and a vet (would love to have Andre Johnson). Come next offseason, cut Wallace loose.

The attempt at signing Cobb to a multi year deal shows you that the team is looking to move on... and realizes they need a playmaker to justify doing so.

The reluctance of placing the June 1st designation on Ellerbe might mean its coming for Wallace, too.

I'm starting to think they're leaning towards letting him go. If they truly wanted him to stay, it'd probably have been declared by now, but with the roster overhaul that Miami seems to be doing, I think they might realize that Wallace's 10 TD's are replaceable if you can get multiple talented WR's, in FA and draft, for his asking price.

They're obviously keeping their options open at the moment, but it makes more sense to move him next offseason if they're going to do it at all.

If Wallace doesn't want to be here you have to get rid of him. No way I go into the season with a disgruntled #1 wr.

I think two things likely affected Mike Wallace's fate in Miami. 1) Tannehill endorsed him, 2) Randall Cobb said no.

Wallace out and our WR is ****ed unless we treade for a WR, don't rate any other FA to put up his production from last season.

Keep him another year. Would be too much change on our offense and too much change for our boy rt17. Plus he still has the ability we saw in him in 2013, the longer he and Tannehill are together the longer their going to be more comfortable with one another. Tannehill will get the deep ball down, people need to stop flipping out, people forget we had a makeshift oline for majority of the year. We need to give the man an adequate amount of time to throw so he can create better opportunities to deliver a more accurate ball.

We have to keep him because of the money factor. No gain in moving him now. Plus, he really developed under Lazer last season. He's no longer a one trick pony and he made some circus grabs in some big moments. Other than the in stride, long ball Tannehill has no problem hitting Wallace all over the field for big yardage. Who is going to replace 10 TDs??? Nobody on our current roster. Bottom line: our offense is MUCH worse without Wallace, nobody takes the top off the D, the other receivers will suddenly have much less room to operate and we'll be facing 8 or 9 in the box and let's try not to forget 10 TDs. Even if we got one of the big 3 receivers in the draft we still better keep Wallace because receiver is a position that sometimes takes a while to translate to the pros. He is the star of our offense and like him or not we need time to bring in and develop a new star before we discard the current one. Our offense for me is fun to watch, without Wallace we are slow and easily defensed which will affect the run game, the pass protection etc. Add speed and playmakers for RT, don't subtract. Keep Wallace, keep Clay, add Phillip Dorsett, DBG or some other receiver who is a downfield threat and don't forget to snag Duke Johnson from the Miami Hurricanes, the kid is very special and I'd love to see him on the Dolphins. This kid has the skills to pay the bills!!! If he goes to the Jets, Bills or Pats I'll be looking for a balcony to jump off. Finally, add Andre Johnson, give RT his Reggie Wayne. We can be awesome next year, no mistakes.

And my question on this bit is - is this leadership from Tannehill, or fear of losing the production/being direct with MW about his BS and therefore a lack of leadership?

Keep Wallace in 2015, then maybe move him in 2016 (depending on his salary and whether his production matches what he is making). I was listening to a Philly station and many callers were wondering if they should go after Wallace with Maclin leaving town.

From what I was reading it seems Chip Kelly prefers WR of a slightly larger build.
