1. Turnovers - We must not turn the ball over in critical situations.

2. OL - The Phinz OL must open up some running lanes, and protect Frerotte. If they can do that, our chances of being victorious are greatly increased...

3. TOP - The TOP will be another critical factor when the heat is bearing down on the Broncos. Keep the chains moving, and have success on 3rd down....

4. ST's - Our return game with Welker is very solid. Field position on Sunday will be another major factor. If we can work with half a field, we'll be able to put points on the board....

5. Stop the run - Out DL will need to keep the Bronco's one dementional. RB M. Anderson looks good, but we all know he's no Portis. I like our chances of keeping Anderson's totals low.....

6. Pressure Plummer - One key to shutting down Plummer is to keep him uneasy. He'll crack under pressure. The Phinz will need to blitz, and be successful when they choose to do so. If we don't generate a pass rush, Plummer will have enough time to be productive. Get on him!!!....

7. Crowd noise - The 12th man needs to show up strong on Sunday. If we do our job well in the stands, our defense will do the rest on the field....

Those are my keys to victory. That being said, I still think this will be a close call Sunday....

PHINZ RULE!!!

Yup, right on the money!

Nice post Blitz. I was thinking of the same top 2 keys as you. I think Gus has to not turn the ball over. He doesnt have to be a superstar out ther, but the mistakes have to be cut down. The o-line is also key. We need to give gus time to throw and open up holes for ronnie. Id also add the secondary to our list. If we can shut down their passing game and maybe make some big plays on plummer we could take this game.

Agree with all of the above, if the D stops the run and rattles Plummer, I think we'll win. One concern I do have is the punting game, heard Turk likely can't go and there's thought of Mare doing both. Think that may cause problems.

Change the names from the other team and repost every week to remind us how to win. Go Fins.

Sounds right on. Especially the part about getting on Jake. Even if we don't sack him alot we need to hit em and hit em and hit em:D

We shouldn't even worry about their passing game. We need to stop the run. The reason why we had the 2nd rated pass defense last year, was because nobody HAD to throw on us, they just ran all over us. If we can't stop the run.... it's all over.

"P Matt Turk didn't practice Thursday and his status on the injury report was downgraded from probable to questionable. Altho K Olindo Mare practiced punting, it's mor likelly that Donnie Jones will assume Turk's role Sunday"~~~~~~~~~Orlando Sentinel 9-9-05

Guess we'll just have to wait and see!

I'd add one more key: get the ball downfield. Even one successfull completion of 30 yards or more will make the running game htat much easier to execute.

I'd also like to add that sig pic of Cristina Scabbia is game-day-temperature-on-the-field HOT!

Right on.... the only thing I would add is that we cannot get costly penalties...

#1 key to victory. do not under any circumstances, let AJ touch the ball.

I believe #1 is the most important, however, I think it's not necessarily about not turning the ball over but about creating turnovers oursleves.
