Opinion: Dolphins Need to Move on from Parker

I wouldn't be in favor of moving Parker, but for those that want to get rid of him: would a Parker for Martavious Bryant trade make sense. Dolphins get another big receiver who has had issues in Pittsburgh and the Steelers gets a younger big receiver who could shine with Rothlisberger.

Frustrating player. Unless they pull the trigger on a trade you have to keep him another year. But every year he’s our “number one alpha receiver” it’ll be another year of the offense not living up to its potential. As is Parker.

If it's him or juice definitely him. He can't catch and is always injured. I still see some potential when healthy but he can't seem to get there and often times looks uninspired.

Having a long striding WR who excels at high pointing the deep ball run nothing but shallow crossing routes into the middle of the defense is dumb. Making a judgement to trade a guy because the head coach and offensive coordinator apparently never watched any tape of this WR high point a deep ball point for the win is dumb.

I wouldn't move on period, even if it turns out that he is not your number 1 receiver he'll be a good backup.

If we get a fair offer for him I wouldn't be opposed. I would prefer to ride out his rookie deal and see if he can turn things around with Tannehill.

He should enter camp next year as the #4 behind Landry, Stills and Grant/Caroo/player "x". Don't count on Parker as the "alpha". We have him for one more year. He must work his way back into the offense and prove his worth. If a suitable trade is available and Parker is not developing or staying healthy then pull the trigger.

No reason to move on from him. He has struggle but on Monday night he was target 6 times and caught 4 passes and 3 went for first downs plus he drew a flag for another first down. He also doesn't cost much so there's nothing to gain as far as the cap. Lets see what happens next year with him and Tannehill

Ozzy rules!!
