At the combine in February, Jones said that the two teams have not discussed working a trade and that the "ONLY" reason for a team to trade up for the first pick would be to take "MATT RYAN", whom Jones considers "FRANCHISE MATERIAL." Wow!!! Those are strong words!!!

Could it be that Jerry Jones, who happens to be BP/JI's former boss, is revealing to us what they are thinking? could it be that BP sees Matt Ryan the same way that his former boss does? if so....ice, ice, baby....at #1. :up:

Come on, Matt Ryans a decent prospect, but not Peyton Manning, Carson palmer, Vince Young material. Hes NOT worth #1.

how does that give us a clue on who bill is going to take he is just saying that is the only player worth trading up for and that he is franchise material if i hear those words out of BP mouth that will give me a clue on who we are going to pick but not from JJ
 
could it be that matt ryan is way over hyped and way overrated? and could it be i give a rats *** what jerry jones says?

It never ceases to amaze me... About a decade or so ago, I find out in a beer commercial that horses play football. Just recently, I see that horses can also form half-way coherent thoughts, typed in English, and on a computer. You never know, they may actually one day have the capacity to offer a persuasive argument; go figure.
 
i think the people who want matt ryan only watched him during the virginia tech game

Or could it be that JJ is sending a smokescreen of his own ?? You can't take anything any GM, Coach or scout says this time of year (I consider JJ the GM in Dallas). Every one of them are liars this time of year...Sounds like another 'supposition' of what Tunaland is thinking, and you nor I know anything about what they are thinking...
 
Could it be that Jones wants to make every other team push for Ryan, so that way the Boys have a shot at grabbing DMAC. It's a smoke screen I tell ya.
 
If I were Matt Ryan I'd be pissed at the comment. I mean Jerry Jones drafted Quincy Carter
